I'm in and I will be cheering in the theater for the Western Alliance.

Outside of the major Cali cities, the state is isn't so monoculture. So this alliance makes sense imo. SanFran and Hollywood would crumble instantly and the rest of the state would find an ally. Texas makes sense. We would win.

I took a look at the trailer and it looks like it's JUST Texas and California (Western Forces, the blurb in the OP is wrong), which would be a nightmare logistically to defend.

Ya I dont think I wanna watch this. Feels too personal. I do wish there were more modern world war/civilization collapse movies, but I don't really wanna watch a movie about just our country ripping itself apart. Ken Burns' Civil War series was tough enough.

 

The "I hate this movie" crowd is exactly who I would have expected, sight unseen.
