As a old Cougar, I like this move. CK looked good in his limited preseason work and I have faith he'll give us our best chance to win.
Who's he gonna throw too? The options are limited. I just hope the receivers we have left aren't dropping passes again this week. We need short quick passes to move down the field.
Unfortunately we don't have as good of running backs, our best receivers are out, and we're running on fumes on our defense.
We should root for the Vikings/Lions today obviously and the Steelers. We have H2H over them and they have the harder remaining schedule vs the Colts.
I foresee alot of three and outs for Houston this game combined with long sustained drives of Derek Henry running it down our throats.
Cant believe the casualties the Texans had in NJ...This game is gonna be hard, especially to beat a still very tough Titans team. If we win the turnover battle, we may win, but I just dont see the Texans scoring 20 points with their offense. The defense needs to show up after getting worked last week. After seeing the career trajectory of Stroud, Mills was just not very good. Truly just a backup. Back to game managing play i guess for this week. Rather trot out Keenum. If by a miracle the game is competitive, maybe we have something to root for in December. Edit: I guess i missed the first page of the thread lol. Keenum it is...
Now the Colts are going to win as well. I guess we just need a Broncos win to make it a **** show of a day.
Keenum makes sense when you have no running game, no deep threat, and a weak offensive line. Need a QB that can make quick short reads under pressure. Keenum is better than Mills for that.
