My guess is that Biden considers his actions as also positioning him best to win the election.

This is so sick. Shot at them because they’re Muslim women.

Notice that ATW has no substantive comment to the 1923 document above.
from one of Zionism's leading lights.

"Except for those who were born blind, they realised long ago that it is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting "Palestine" from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority.
My readers have a general idea of the history of colonisation in other countries. I suggest that they consider all the precedents with which they are acquainted, and see whether there is one solitary instance of any colonisation being carried on with the consent of the native population. There is no such precedent. The native populations, civilised or uncivilised, have always stubbornly resisted the colonists, irrespective of whether they were civilised or savage. And it made no difference whatever whether the colonists behaved decently or not. The companions of Cortez and Pizzaro or (as some people will remind us) our own ancestors under Joshua Ben Nun, behaved like brigands; but the Pilgrim Fathers, the first real pioneers of North America, were people of the highest morality, who did not want to do harm to anyone, least of all to the Red Indians,

He doesn’t care. He’s more pro Zionist than he is pro German. He thinks by doing so he can atone for the sins of his forefathers (they killed Jews during ww2).

Maybe - this could cost him Michigan. Obviously I hope not because the other nominee should be in prison.

"Israel didn't exist." No, but the Balfour Declaration did. European Jews were colonizing Palestine and threatening to displace the Arab population. That is the backdrop within which violent outbursts and the 1936-1939 rebellion took place.

No. Economic dispossession and fear of being pushed out due to the immigration influx were the primary drivers of the resentment. Antisemitism and religious sentiments, by no means a unique feature of Arab culture, added fuel to the fire.

A British commission explained the reason for the 1929 riots as: “"without which in our opinion disturbances either would not have occurred or would have been little more than a local riot, is the Arab feeling of animosity and hostility towards the Jews consequent upon the disappointment of their political and national aspirations and fear for their economic future”; viewing Jewish immigrants as “"not only as a menace to their livelihood but as a possible overlord of the future".

The more immediate causes of the 1929 riots and the Hebron massacre were demonstrations at the Wailing Wall and counter demonstrations that resulted in the killing of a Jewish youth and an Arab youth.

Obviously, massacres and mob violence aren’t justified. But they didn’t just come out of the blue due to a dislike of Jews existing.

Then why did you just write a wall of text to justify them?

You probably don't want to go down the road of comparing village massacres back then. The zionists massacred many and slaughtered women and children.

Both sides did it. Zionists did it in an effort to seize land and remove Arab families that had been there for generations.

I'm not sure why you want to bring up the massacres of 70-90 years ago. But it isn't a situation that makes Zionists look like victims which seems like the image you are trying to create.

Deir Yassin is probably the most famous of these. That was done after the two sides had signed a peace pact. Zionists broke it and slaughtered over 100 villagers including women and children.

You can look up the Nabka, Balad al-Sheikh, Saasaa, Saliha, and others.

This is not a "both sides" situation, as much as you lefties are trying to make it.

You are right. This is a result of settler colonialism and Aparthied.

30 years after the ANC took over no one talks about the horrors of the ANC being a terror group. They talk about the horrors of Aparthied and if history swings a certain way that's probably how israel-palestine will be discussed in a few decades.

    Very sad:

    Summary
    1. The IDF says three Israeli hostages who were mistakenly killed in Gaza by the Israeli military had been holding up a white cloth on a stick
    2. An initial report by Israel's military into the deaths found that the hostages were fired upon against Israel's rules of engagement
    3. Protests over the killings took place in Tel Aviv with calls for the Israeli government to do more to bring home hostages from Gaza
