    Wow I had the suspicion but did not really believe Clutch being a hater. I will insist on believing one last time despite the evidence that he clearly does not want to come around at all.

    It's just normal good coaching, no reason for gloating really.

    It sets a good standard for everyone else that everyone gets treated the same, even @Clutch's favourite franchise player Alpi.

    People can see that there is no favouritism if even the star of the team needs to sit when the attitude or effort isn't right on a particular day.

    I like it.

    I don't think Clutch is rooting against Sengun either. Sengun fans use the meme "nope" to gloat. I've always said that if you gloat, you'd better be ready to receive the same thing when your take gets a hit.

    Clutch posted a wise ass and dismissive response to a legitimate post and is now gloating himself because the subject of that post has had a 1 and a half bad game stretch. It’s not a good look.

    The gloating wasn't about Sengun playing bad. It's about the poster claiming the coach would value Sengun too much to bench him.

    What Ime values is on a game by game basis.
    Thus, who gets benched or plays is on a game by game basis.

    We have no player that is so good and consistent as to have immunity from this.

    You know we can all read what you said, right? There was no misinterpretation. And of course Sengun is going to bounce back -- DUH! He's a damn good player. Jabari getting benched for the final 6 minutes of the fourth was good for him.

    Nobody is celebrating struggles. That would be stuff like this:

    That’s not celebrating Jalen’s struggles, that’s just calling out a poster who trolls me just because I didn’t like the Jalen selection.

    Also there’s a big difference in that, poking fun of a bit player who doesn’t affect the team’s performance, vs waiting the whole season (since he hasn’t had many bad games) and then jumping at the chance to specifically post LOWLIGHTS of the best player on the team (the Rockets core player, if you will) all over social media, when that was not done for Jalen, not done for Jabari - even though they have had more than their share of struggles and mistakes. You realize you are not fooling anyone here with your biases either, right?

    There was a small window of opportunity to clap back at the Sengun supporters and boy did that window close quick. Congrats on those who jumped at the opportunity, we will see you in another month or two after his next poor showing.
