Not skinny, but an undersized PF with a different game.

with the lineup okc plays it works for them. 5 versatile guys who can play multiple positions and areas of the floor. He isn't your prototypical big but the modern era doesn't require that. DG has been undersized for what a decade. didn't stop him from being an anchor and all nba defender year after year

    Jalen's not a good fit...

Now that Kevin Porter's girl has retracted her statement, they should do whatever it takes to bring him back. With his high BBall IQ, supreme skills and ability to smoothly run a team without high turnovers and heavy isolation.... He's a perfect fit for what THIS team needs!

Due to nba rules, the Rockets would not be able to sign KPJ till July 1st 2024.

But sure, he'd be better than Jalen.... that's not saying much though.

You seriously would take KPJ back? You have to be trolling

Jalen has been bad but he doesn't beat up women and quit

getting rid of toxic locker room personalities like kPJ is the reason we are playing much better this season.

Then why shouldn't the Rockets take a chance on him?

After he pays for what he did, sure.

He's always been significantly better than Jalen on the court....at basically everything, and in the end that's all that matters.

As an added bonus, if he was allowed back in the league, he'd be signing a MUCH smaller contract than his play would command.

I think if they could get him for a cheap one year deal, he'd improve the team.....or if not, you cut him.

If the offseason incident never happened and the Rockets had KPJ rather than Green, they'd be a MUCH better team.

Interesting because all the data suggest the team is MUCH better without KPJ(because you know, this isn't a game of 1 on 1) but maybe you know something that everyone else on the planet doesn't...or maybe you are just trolling to kill some time.

I'm reading Donovan Mitchell on Twitter. Absolutely not. Fred is 5'3 and Mitchell is 6'1 that lineup would get cooked on defense and Mitchell is a ball hog. Guy takes over 20 shots a game. He will take others' shots and we would be Mitchell's team all of a sudden. I don't trust him being on the wheel he's not a winner. Gobert-Bogdanovic-Mitchell and Mobley-Allen-Mitchell didn't work. I don't think Sengun-Jabari-Mitchell can work.

On the other hand my body needs Markkanen. Just entered his prime still 26 can do anything on the court. He is big a great defender at 4, is not a ball hog, he can shoot. He's is better than Jabari will ever be that's the guy we would be getting. Sengun-Jabari-Markkanen-Brooks-FVV is an insane lineup.

There's not really any evidence of that, KPJ was the 2nd best player on the team last season and he was replaced by other guys that weren't on the team last year and a coach that emphasizes defense that they didn't have last year. If you replace the worst player from the starting lineup last season....who is still the worst player in the starting lineup this season, with the second best player from last season, you get a much better team.

I mean, even the most blind should be able to realize that.

I think you just have to google 'NBA standings' for the evidence.

BTW, what are KPJ's stats so far this year? Maybe try googling that too and if you don't see any, maybe ask why that is.

I guarantee you that if KPJ wasn't a piece of **** he would still be here, start over Jalen and we would be 14-7. KPJ the wing, KPJ the good guy is tiers above Jalen as a basketball player.

That's not evidence of what you are saying because there are a ton of other variables that have caused that. I know that often I'm not dealing with the best or brightest around here, but 100% of KPJ's problems right now are due to an off court incident....I do hope you can understand the difference between an off court incident and on court performance. Here's a hint, they aren't the same.

On the court he was the second best player on the Rockets last season and one of the only reasons they managed to win the few games they won. If not for his off court incident, he'd likely still be one of the best players on the Rockets, and the team would be a lot more successful now that they'd be able to give him and Sengun some help.

Don't want him anywhere near the team. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. Doesn't play defense nor anything else when he doesn't get his way. In a perfect world and he'd adhere to a catch and shoot guy then he'd be valuable.

It's completely fair to be disappointed in Jalen. We all are. That being said, his inadequacy doesn't open the door for a guy like KPJ. He belongs in a jail cell not a basketball court
