I don't think lefties @glynch @trustme realize biden is the only thing stopping Israel from carpet bombing Lebanon and starting ww3 with Iran. I'm not sure anyone gets this even @Nook who seems pretty knowledgeable. Bibi only chance to survive is to prolong the war. 81% of Israelis want him gone but @AroundTheWorld is his biggest cheerleader. It's a pathetic look to bootlick someone on the other side of the world for no reason
Are we sure they weren’t killed by IDF? This just keeps happening…don’t even need to make **** up like the Zionists on this board.
The October 7th attacks were preventable, but for staggering incompetence by Israel’s government. Intelligence warnings were not taken seriously. Their focus was on protecting illegal settlements in the West Bank, rather than protecting their citizens inside Israel. A fraction of the resources and manpower they are committing to this invasion of Gaza would be sufficient to bolster Israel’s security beyond where it was at on October 6th and where it is at today. A ceasefire doesn’t hurt Israel’s security position at all, but it needs to be coupled with serious engagement on the issue of Palestinian independence. That probably starts with booting Netanyahu and his cronies to the curb. They are well past their expiration date. The true enemy of the Israeli people is an ideology that says peace with Israel is an impossibility. This enemy, which manifests as Hamas today, feeds on despair and hate. It isn’t simply a bunch of people you kill and are done with. If Israel is serious about squashing Hamas, address the root cause for their existence and support. Seek out and find partners in peace among Palestinians by seriously working with them to realize their legitimate political aspirations of mutually secure coexistence and autonomy, and let the remainder who latch onto their hate whither away to irrelevance.
Horrible to hear. Unfortunately I’m not surprised. There’s always going to be fog of war and sadly it would not surprise me if more hostages and IDF had died from friendly fire.
I agree with this in principle but the problem with this conflict is that it is far too easy for groups like Hamas with no interest in peace to hijack it. All it takes is a terrorist attack and a massive response from Israel and the process gets derailed. I will keep on reiterating that Rabin called it “the peace of the brave” for good reason.
No - I am well aware that Israel sees this as a perfect excuse to turn Gaza into an absolute parking lot and kill as many Palestinians. I also know that Joe Biden and his administration is the only reason it hasn't been worse. Joe Biden has tried very hard to be ethical on this whole thing. I think there is a chance that he ultimately is hurt from an electoral standpoint, but I also believe that he is less concerned about that than most politicians - Biden is old, he is more concerned about going out on terms that he can live with than winning an election.
1923 document which is proof of Zionism as nothing but brutal colonization by one of the one the principle founders. As even some ex Jewish Zionists admit too bad it was not started a couple of centuries berfore when such colonization was quite acceptable. BTW the Holocaust which occurred 20 years later is not an excuse.https://en.jabotinsky.org/media/9747/the-iron-wall.pdf
You keep calling everyone a Jew hater yet you’re the biggest Muslim hater here. Also, the biggest Jew haters were your ancestors from ww2 Germany when they killed 6 million Jews.
