I'm seeing a trend of Alpi having issues with fronting. Him and the team are really gonna have to find a way to punish teams for doing it.

If he can't get in his post up rhythm it seems to really effect his whole offensive game on top of disrupting our entire offensive set every time it happens. Last night is the first time I can recall him looking so visibly demoralized by his struggles this season.

Sengun has been starting off poorly in the last 3-4 games. I'm glad Ime sat him out last night. Hopefully Sengun will show up in the rematch on Friday.

I honestly can't believe that guy is still going, look at his account. Hundreds of basketball related tweets per day, zero engagement, zero responses, just nothing. Just posting into the void.

"Ime not using Alpy correctly" after Ime HIMSELF comes out talking about the calming presence of his post game is prime SOF insecurity. They were going at him in the game thread last night and even this morning the "Euro ball/coaches is better than USA" seems to be a thing with SOME OF THEM. Hard to take them SOME OF THEM serious as HOUSTON ROCKETS fans.

Mandatory PSA before the torches and pitchforks come out --- ALPEREN SENGUN IS STILL A REALLY REALLY REALLY good player. Clutch said it in the thread they are attacking, but it doesnt fit the narrative of a guy who is singled out and being held back from greatness. First with Silas and now apparently with Udoka .

the irony of talking about sof insecurity by trying to characterize sof highlighting someone with apparent issues, who is not even in this forum. Lol.

I personally am loving the accountability thing, it's so refreshing after what we had with Silas. God I hate Silas. And as much as I hate to see my favorite guy on the team get benched, it was absolutely the right call. He was missing shots and getting frustrated with himself, and that was bleeding over into the rest of his game, like Ime said. He has to cut out that weak mentality, you can't just fold when your shots aren't falling.

I've also noticed he does this thing where he sorta "tries to get himself going" and turns super selfish, tunnel visioning on scoring in the post and ignoring his open teammates. Just turning the ball over to double/triple teams instead of making the easy pass out, normally he sees those and makes that pass. He usually goes into this mode after he smokes a layup or gets blocked or something like that. On the one hand it sorta shows that he has that dog in him, like he's pissed at himself and knows he should have made it, he wants to go right back down and go at that same guy again. And we do have some cool examples where he does this successfully. But you can't do that to the detriment of your team. He cannot go into a possession knowing that he's not going to pass the ball.

And remember, he said he wants to be coached hard. He wants the coach to yell at him and be strict with him. And that's exactly what he's getting here. I think Ime is going to help Sengun get a lot better, it's exactly what he needs and ultimately it's going to make him a way better player. We're really lucky to have gotten Udoka. I cannot overstate how much he has exceeded my expectations as a coach. I've mentioned this before but I've long held the belief that coaching is overrated and it doesn't make THAT big of a difference, at the end of the day your players have to play. But Udoka has made me do a complete 180 on that stance. It's actually crazy how big of an impact this guy has on our team.

Just give my man @Clutch a break. Bro been waiting for a great Jabari and terrible Sengun game for 1,5 years. He deserves it.

I haven't seen a single "Sengun fan" on this forum (one who thinks Sengun is our best player) complain about this benching.

So the Sengun Only Haters had to go out to Twitter to find one, so they can keep their narratives alive.

Oh it is the standard drill. Even if there are some, that’s their opinion. Haters come in one shape, Sengun fans don’t.
