    Last year Sengun would have great games and the coach would still throw him under the bus in interviews. This year after one of his worst games of the year the coach makes it clear that he will still believe and trust in Sengun no matter what, even though other young players, Jalen and Jabari, have been benched multiple times. Oh how the times a changin’. Basically Sengun is getting the Jalen and kpj treatment from prior years, except he actually deserves it.

    Didn’t watch the game but was Ime talking about Jalen when he answered shorter leash in second half for guys who keep making the same mistakes? Jalen only played 24 minutes.

    Alp committed few turnovers and Ime was going to sub Uncle Jeff in with around 7:30 minutes to go in the 3rd, then Alp post up Wemby and scored on him and Ime immediately send Uncle Jeff back in the bench and let Alp play almost the entire 3rd quarter after that bucket. That's why coaching matters.

    That was not about Sengun, specifically. It’s about having a reliable post threat that is calming when offense is not clicking.

    i’ve been b****ing for years and my blood still boils when I remember 0 for 27, and not having anyone that we can throw it to in the post. The idiot Morey with all his BS about re-inventing basketball, Moreyball, the Postup is Dead, etc… Just the memory of that sleaze raises my blood pressure.

    So "calming’ to have things ran by a guy with common sense and no delusions of grandeur…
