I wouldn’t judge a person by the comments they make online while they and their fellow countrymen are being indiscriminately bombed by another country, and who has experienced their family members being killed in past bombings. A lot of people here have posted especially nasty things about others while under considerably less duress.
He made despicable comments before the bombing started. And he had been making despicable comments for years. He was 100 % Hamas.
The bombing of Gaza didn’t start in October/November of this year. I cannot fault an Israeli who has lost family members to Palestinian militants for having a deep, personal hatred of Palestinians. Similarly, I cannot fault a Palestinian who has lost family members to an Israeli bombing campaign for having a deep, personal hatred of Israelis. This is what rampant killing does. It creates hate, and quite often a refusal to acknowledge tragedy faced by the enemy. When people who have very little stake in this conflict can comment online with such “despicable” disdain for human suffering when it’s on the other side, how can I harshly judge those who do the same when they have been and continue to be directly impacted by this conflict?
To any American who is defending Hamas, siding with Hamas, being anti-Israel: You are a target the Islamists want to murder as well. Many of the Israeli and international victims of October 7 were leftist peaceniks who were anti-Netanyahu, anti-USA. Didn't matter. Hamas murdered them anyway. And they would murder you, too, if given the opportunity.
Uk literally voted for a ceasefire at the UN. Poor brits can never catch a break. Everyone hates them regardless lol
So IDF can use precision attacks against Hamas like in this case (according to you) yet chooses to indiscriminately bomb civilians.
