I totally forgot about the effort to -- and failure to -- impeach Bill Clinton. Not to mention that we also had a president who engaged in some significant war crimes and never faced any genuine risk of impeachment (was just talking to my son about his project on a poor b*stard locked in Guantanamo for years and then released without charges, and having a lot of trouble explaining how ****ed up was that era of bloodlust we called the War on Terror). How many moral failures in a row is that?
I'm still waiting for the smoking gun that you said was out there linking biden directly to some crime. It's sad seeing you embarrass yourself multiple times throughout the forums. Not a single dollar has been shown that biden ever profited from any his son's dealings. Not a single action can be pointed to that the biden/Obama admin ever did to benefit hunter or his people. Nothing EVERYTHING I predicted that said was going happen actually did happen. Hunter was a drug addict addicted to the high life of sex and drugs and used his dad's profile to profit off him. well............we want to do this so we have greater subpoena power so we can go on a fishing expedition and make **** up as we go along. I'm all for a formal impeachment inquiry. Yeah, I know it is a fishing expedition. I know it is a campaign tactic. But given our vulnerability to the decisions of our high officials, the bar for investigating corruption among them should be low.
This isn't going to go the way Republicans think it will. They haven't uncovered anything untoward and have no proof that Biden changed US policy to favor China or Ukraine in a way that was self-serving. It seems smart of Hunter to go on the offensive here. Don't forget that a lot of Republicans represent people who have family members addicted to opioids; maligning addiction and family support is a bold strategy, Cotton.

Hunter comes off as a likable character in his statements. He's taking responsibility like a man. Something the right wing donkeys should do
