Taking a step back and objectively thinking about this: would the return on trading Jalen right now be more worth it than letting him play out the next 60 games with Ime and making a decision to extend him or trade him in the offseason? I honestly don’t think so. I guess I’m of the opinion that if you can get a really good offer (really good being a good lotto pick and/or a good young starter on a good contract) then it’s probably okay to move him, but if not, you hold onto him till the offseason.
When i praise Wagner and say him and Wagner would go top 2 in re-draft they be like "Well i'm not sold on him he still can't shoot 3" but blindly follow Green. If Green was a Magic player they would look at his stats and treat him like garbage. These hypocrites, losers are riding Green's dick only because he's our player. The only reason. They are ******** on Cade on Twitter. Calling him a bust, saying that he is not 1st option of a contender and these people know Pistons are a mess and still trashing that kid. But when you criticize Jalen for being dog water in his first two years they hide behind Silas excuse. Silas was the reason he was poop. Silas made him do it. Silas can be used as an excuse but Monty can't. I can go on and on i loathe these over protective, blind fanatics.
Getting triggered that Rockets fans root for their players? That's what most normal fans do, root for players that plays for their team. It's like how folks rooted for harden when he played for us and hates on him or stop following him after he's gone
Gotcha. I'm disappointed he hasn't improved his ball handling and his shooting. It seemed like he was in the gym a lot this offseason so I expected a decent leap. Obviously that so far hasn't come. I'm a huge advocate for Tari getting more minutes. He's just not a 2. I think trying to put him there would hinder his development. Kinda like the Spurs trying to make Sochan a pg. On Amen he can't shoot at all. I think keeping him at the point is essential because obviously FVV isn't in our long term plans. On Cam, I like what I see in the G-League but a lot of guys light it up there. Look at how bad Scoot is struggling for Portland. It made Nix look like an NBA player. I trust Ime knows what he's doing there. On passing he's shown flashes but I agree because his handle is so loose it doesn't really matter. Basically I'm just hoping he puts it together by the end of the season. I don't see them moving him. Maybe him getting benched more often will help. We went through 2 years of KPJ and Green doing whatever they wanted and you see where that got us. I agree it's not enough but hopefully it turns around.
"I have the world's greatest sports database at my fingertips and I refuse to use it when arguing basketball!" Learn to speak English too. Broken English is endearing when spoken kindly, not so much by an illiterate scrub throwing a temper tantrum.
Sad he pretty much turned out to be a bust. Oh well... Next man up. Cam Whitmore your time is coming soon.
We won so I'm not worried about that aspect. Ime saw something so I'm not going to question his decision. Both teams were dreadful. Spurs were just worse
What makes you a total spaz is that calling a foreigner whose first language isn't English an 'illiterate' to own him. If you can undestand what i'm trying to say my broken English should not be a problem. It's only a problem if you are being mean to me isn't an argument. That's another reason why you are a spaz.
How can he possibly know that i have 2 accounts? and why are you acting like he's the supreme being? This is my only account feel free to use that ignore feature because i will now.
I'd say just common sense.... The fact that his played two full seasons under a terrible coach and only 20 games under a new coaching regime which has got the team performing over expectations says there's a stronger possibility this isn't his peak. You are an emotional rockets poster who constantly has to pit our Rockets's players against each other. I don't really think you are a good judge of talent so you are another reason why I think this isn't Green's peak.
And how many teams give up on the #2 draft picks after 2 seasons and 20 games? The emotional aspect works both ways as a lot of y'all are just being unreasonable. He is clearly the scapegoat.... win or lose a lot of y'all just don't like him. To trade him for basically nothing....just to get rid of him essentially.... Is just stupid.
Even if i'm triggered why would be a gotcha moment honestly? I don't get this. Also it's not what normal fans do it's what fans normally do. A normal fan's priority is his/her team not some guy that will leave in a few years. Also Green isn't Harden. I was never the biggest fan of him but he was a superstar so i supported him.
I have no idea. I'm new to the board but I highly doubt that he'd throw that accusation out without merit. I wasn't acting like he's a "supreme being " but he's not the poster who is throwing temper tantrums. He's also not the only poster to have commented on you and I've barely been here. That's ok if you choose to ignore me. I certainly won't be losing any sleep over it
