We don't need superstars via trade we already got Alpi. Jabari and Tari are perfect pieces around Sengun makes zero sense to trade them. The superstars getting shopped around always have problems otherwise they wouldn't be traded. I'd rather keep what we have and/or sign guys in FA.
Agree for the most part, but think how we would look with Bridges instead of Jalen. That guy would be the perfect fit for this team. Jalen, Tate, all the Nets picks and maybe some swaps might get it done if the Nets fall out of the playoffs.
Lol yeah yet Brooklyn would demand couple good players and a pick for him. I would if I were halfway sane person. Brooklyn were always content hovering around Play In spots without doing anything for years....... At their height they reached the Playoffs with players like DeAngelo Russell, Jarrett Allen and Dinwiddie. Not one legit star or even perennial All Star. They have similar record as the Rockets....
Don't get me wrong, I like Tari! However, if he is required in a trade package to bring in an Impact player/Superstar, then he has to go! Tari is a complimentary player, not a franchise player. Don't allow emotion attachment to a certain player cloud logic.
Looking at Spotrac and not letting emotional attachment sink-in. Jalen Green will be the first to go since Tari Eason has an additional year and is almost half the cost. Getting rid of Green also means more minutes for guys like Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson. Tari Eason isn't getting dealt...
Tari Eason is half as skilled as Jalen Green at basketball and he’s also twice as good at basketball as Jalen Green.
Depending on the type of player we're trying to get, Tari could be packaged with Green to get the deal done. Do I want to trade Tari, no... I prefer to move Jalen/Tate/our expiring contracts to upgrade our SG position
My guess is if there's no great market out there that significantly improves the team, it's more likely that Ime moves him Jalen to the bench in a 6th man type of role. I could see Tari potentially moving to the 3 as a starter, and Brooks moving to the 2. The Rockets do not HAVE TO trade Jalen. They can always just not feature him in the offense, and then take a risk with him as a RFA potentially. The only real risk is if Jalen acts out, and becomes a locker room distraction if he loses his starting spot. Of course... if there's a great deal out there for Jalen... or really anyone... Stone makes the deal regardless. Everyone right now is expendable at the right cost. What is considered a "great return" out there for Jalen is really up to interpretation, and personal opinion.
Eason and Amen are the two guys who look like they have more athleticism then they know what to do with.
I like when they share the court together, very similar body types. Long wing spans, 6'7, athletic and great defense

eason has some of the best hand eye coordination i've ever seen. those hands are wicked fast. dude would probably be an incredible boxer.
Jalen's body is inferior to Tari since Tari is 6'7 and has the largest hands in his class while also being athletic AF.
