I will not claim to answer that for Germany as not being a German or ever even been in Germany i accept that May be possible. From what I have heard from other Germans is that such biews are not held by all Germans and like the US there is significant debate in Germany too about how much immigration there should be. The US though isn’t Germany both the physical and economic size of this country is different along with our social systems. It’s pretty obvious to most people that service industries are having a problem hiring labor and as an architect I hear frequently from contractors the difficulty with hiring more people in every sector of construction.
I’ve said before that my neighborhood already has a large Muslim population with a mosque a few blocks away. I’ve yet to see any serious attempt to impose sharia law or demand that non Muslims convert. The only religious group in my neighborhood that has tried to convert me and said I should follow their religious edicts are Jehovah Witnesses.

I will point out that my city councilor and US Rep are Muslims so it’s not like in my neighborhood they are politically weak or insignificant. And now can you point to any actual move to impose sharia law in the US? Further since most immigration, not legal and illegal, to the US is not from Muslim majority countries it seems unlikely that Muslims will be a majority or even plurality in the US. Also having spent time in Muslim majority countries like Indonesia and Malaysia with eye exception of Aceh sharia law wasn’t installed. For that matter neither is it in Turkey.
