It takes people that don't have skin in the game to see the reality of it all. Israeli Jews are rightfully fearful the tyranny of the Muslim majority since Muslims would love to wipe them off the map. If they let the Palestinians become their own country, we all know that Muslim factions would just stockpile an army there waiting to take over Israel. No, they will kill them without hitting civilians, that is the point. Did the Taliban stand by while the US built military bases in Afghanistan? No, they attacked the bases, and the US military defended the bases. That's what war is. The US didn't operate out of civilian hospitals because they didn't want to be attacked by the Taliban, because that is illegal under the customary law of war. If Hamas doesn't want to operate out of military bases and instead hide among the civilian population, then they are putting that civilian population at risk when the Israelis attack Hamas. The idiots who complain about the civilian casualties and don't put the blame on Hamas for using the civilian population as human shields (especially the real tards who think human shields in this context actually means someone that can stop the bullets from hitting a person hiding behind said human shield) probably understand this, but are pretending to believe Israel is targeting the civilians. I like to point out the absurdity.

Just because you Islamists are too dumb to have a military as strong as the IDF doesn't mean you wouldn't if you could. We all know how full of hate you are. You will never get your caliphate.
They have no means to defend themselves. Hamas isn't the US. War is a combat between two sides. What you are suggesting is simply one side slaughtering the other. Hamas is waging their war within Gaza in the only way they can do so with any measure of actual deterrence. The argument should be that they should stop waging war, given the significant and predictable civilian cost with Israel's decision not to also follow "the customary law of war" (The protection of hospitals during armed conflicts: What the law says | ICRC). Not that they should wage war in a manner that obviously doesn't make any sense for them.
They do not have that right, because Israel is now an established and internationally recognized state. It has all the protections of any other such state with regards to how it chooses to function within its own legitimate borders. Did Palestinians have a "right" to refuse the creation of Israel back in 1947, when it would inevitably mean their own expulsion? Absolutely. But what's done is done.
