“Palestine” didn’t exist as as sovereign country, and therefore the people who have lived in those lands for generations have no rights and can just be pushed out.

There is no point.

Palestine was the name used by various Arab conquerors and the Romans when they were there.

The people known as Palestinians have been there for thousands of years. They have governed, fought, been conquered, and have their own culture.

It is strange and also stupid when people try to make a point using that for some reason.

 

Also, this idea that Arabs in Palestine should just go and be with their “brothers” in other countries they have no connection to is just bizarre to me.

Sometimes people ask why the Arabs in Palestine didn’t have a problem when under Muslim/Arab state, but they can’t accept a Jewish state. The only explanation, according to them, must be antisemitism.

But the main reason, of course, is that Jews don’t want an Arab-majority state. They want a Jewish state, which means most Arabs must be forced elsewhere or are to be forced into camps where they are not permitted to move freely in the country. That is the core issue, and it has always been the core issue.
