It's quite telling that our record is the way it is with the gauntlet of playoff caliber teams we faced.
Also a nice feeling to know that beating hot teams like the Thunders and Nuggets when we haven't even reach our full potential yet is quite a positive trend.

And we haven't even really seen Amen and Cam yet.

    Future is bright.

Don't worry, you are on my ignore list. In the mean time I'll continue to be a moron who can tell

    1) Silas's offensive system is something that doesn't exist and is in fact not a commodity. It is just Luka magic. You watched Silas for two years and thought he wasn't succeeding because of inexperienced players etc.

    2) Bruno over Sengun is the most idiotic thing ever. I can tell what is crap and what is some actual argument, that can be considered 'well-documented'. Of course it is harder to identify crap if you believe Silas's system is a commodity :)

    3) Sengun is one of the most pro ball movement players I have ever seen, especially with the individual skills he possesses that is more impressive.

You can't even stay on the right side of things that are glaringly obvious and talk 'Sengunatics this Sengunatics that' and call people moron.

And you think writing 'Sengun is a talented 19 year old' is some sort of evidence of your support for sengun, despite countless posts against him that doesn't make any sense, lol.

Not just the wins, Ime's outcoaching other coaches and you can see it. I am particularly impressed with the okc game.

The record on the road games also doesn't reflect our current level. They lost the first few road games by a couple of points and bad officiating. and it sort of became a mental thing. They are worse on the road but nothing like our away record suggests.

It would b nice if it was all of them but who knows anything can happen. I'm just giddy that everybody on the team is doing well except lockdale

Me: The Rockets won. Sengun disappeared in the 4th. The free throw struggles can become a real problem.

Nuggets had 18-0 run at the 4th. Okay but Rockets had 39-17 run between 5th minute of the 3rd and 4th minute of 4th. It happens in basketball.

As Rockets better team than Nuggets at the moment we could lose them only in 2 conditions:
1."Ridiculous points difference at the beginning: Rockets let them to be ahead only 7 (14-7) and recovered easily after that
2.Ime's lack of concentration at the end of 3rd quarter and the beginning of 4th: Ime got a time out at the 11th minute of 3rd, changed the rotation and Rockets was saved.

But as no one gave a double espresso to Ime he still had his short nap at the mid of 4th, Jokic played without Alp's defence, momentum changed, there was a kind of panic not only Alp but also FVV missed FT, the team started to bricklay.

If you're 21 and challenging to not only the best basketball player of the world but also great back-up DeAndre Jordan in an away game, it's very normal to be destroyed some part of the game if you're not ubermensch.

It's a progress, like his English. Much better but still yahooesque, too much "you know"s. Will get better. Not only Alp but also Tari, JGreen and Jabari.

Otherwise he is still behind of Magic's playmaking, Hakeem's defense, Larry's shooting, Jokic's vision, Stockton's assisting, Eaton's blocking, Kazuo Ishigoro's writing, Jim Broadbent's acting, Nusret's cooking,..

    But progressing.

Sorry for interrupting, but I was wondering, what day this week do we play the Nuggets again?

Buddy, you have the audacity to call Alp "ball stopper" on a team where KPJ played point guard.

You just wait for relatively bad Alp games, which happen like once a month, and you completely disappear and avoid his thread when he dominates.

So why would I bother quoting your dumbass takes while everyone on this forum knows your stance on Alp?

I dunno why people need to create a divide between Alpi and Green when both love playing with each other.

The reality is who should be the no 1 option isn't up to either Sengun or Green it is up to the coach and Ime has clearly decided it is Sengun. Does this mean we should dump Green? Not really, Green has gotten with the program and in fact has picked up his game, in the last 6 games which have been nothing but contenders (Den, Lal, OKc) Green has averaged 19/5/3 while shooting 35% from 3 and 47% from the field.

This is far from a Yao/Francis situation and more like a Jokic/Murray situation.

Very good post. Jalen looks to me like a very coachable young man. He just hasn’t been coached until Ime came on board. I just want consistent improvement over the course of the year. People talk about break out years, but who is to say it has to be this year or he is a bust. I don’t think he will be at his best until he puts on another 15 lbs or so. Right now he is just to easy to knock off balance. He should also start putting up more stop and pop shots like Calvin used to do. If he can master that he will be unguardeable.

Great take and agree 1000%! We have some great young players that are complementary--no need to be divisive. I'm beginning to think that the Russian/Chinese/Iranian/North Korean PSYOPers have infiltrated Clutchfans (Lol sort of) and are deliberately trying to pit us against each other (as they're doing across a variety of topics).

It's remarkable to sit back and appreciate the team we have. Yes it's taken Coach Ime to unlock the magic and we had to add a few smart vets to provide leadership and set the example, but damn we're on the right path and it's f___ing exciting to see and experience!

It's easy to call Sengun Baby Joker, but he's more athletic and not as big/long as Jokic or he doesn't have his shooting touch. He's only 21 and has added to his game every year. No reason to think he won't continue to get better and add more to his game as he matures. How many big men could shutdown Josh Giddey?

Green is a bundle of exciting energy with the ability to get hot and explode in any given quarter. He's ramped up his defense and playmaking, but he still has room to grow, get better and develop some consistency. He's lightning to Sengun's thunder and is likely going to go through a metamorphosis this season as he adjusts to the new coaching and scheme.

Smith has gotten a lot of scrutiny given he was supposed to go #1 and "slipped" to #3. While Banchero and Chet are both tantalizing for their own talents, I believe Jabari is squarely in the "you can't always get what you want, you get what you need" perspective. He adds length, defense, and shooting to the mix. He's only 20, but is showing how he can impact the game (18 rebs @ OKC and 5 assist@ DEN). I fully expect his offensive game to continue to develop and see him as a guy that can routinely get us 15-20 points and 10-12 rebs.

Eason, Thompson and Whitmore all bring complementary skill sets to those 3. I could see those 6 comprising our starting 5 and #1 off the bench in 2-years. That could be a formidable team. A lot will depend on development and our GM's ability to manage the money. In any case, BE HAPPY CF this is the best we've had it in 3+ years--enjoy and embrace this team, they deserve our support.

Or you could just admit you can't and keep it moving.
