I think it's just for show too. A show for cameras? It's not going to do anything but make opposing players and fans laugh. It's embarrassing as a Rockets fan. Dumb is dumb.

The Villain thing actually makes him play better..... It is just not really great for the team's fans other than us because Harden was made a villain before....

He thinks he has to channel some kind of Satanic spirit and be that in the game.

Maybe Alpe should kiss and make love to the basketball more for better juju.

So you're arguing with me that this isn't weird by saying it directly correlates with his on court success. Agree to disagree. I believe you can understand why Murray is mocking him. Youre being disingenuous because Dillon is a Rocket. Nothing more to say here.

Yes Sengun talking to a basketball is kinda weird. But wearing white jeans is kinda weird. Being naked in public is really weird. All not relevant to this conversation.

Some people use meditation to relax their mind.

Dillon uses death stare to do the same. :D

It serves a double purpose. Relax his own mind and tighten the opponent's.

    How are they not related?

Are they not both superstitious things done on a basketball court that have no affect on the outcome apart from the players minds?

    You're completely missing my point.

You are literally the only one that cares. My only problem with Dillon's in-game antics are the way the refs are calling the game on him. He was doing the exact same thing Murray was doing on the perimeter and when someone brought the ball up, he gets the foul call, Murray could do whatever he wanted. Dillon is getting a ton of ticky tack foul calls on him, along with the stupid ones he commits. He is super valuable to us and needs to stay on the court, especially since he has become our best 3pt shooter and our best defender by a long shot. He can stare at whatever he wants to before the game, if it keeps him engaged.

Given that people were openly laughing at him, I have doubts about the "mind tightening" properties of this exercise.

I was hoping Murray would borrow someone's phone and start taking selfies.

Without being disrespectful what so ever I think its the age deference, I'm assuming dude is twice Dillions age or close to it.

Maybe Murray would have shot better if he kept shooting instead of being silly pre game ;)

I'm definitely more than twice his age. Not all "old" people are Stodgy old stubborn impatient get off my lawn guys. I embrace the Rockets' youth movement and their approach to building a contender.

Dillon looks like a 37 year old even at his young age....most people on the board are around the age that Dillon looks like.

Death Staring into the thin air makes him even look older.

Now with Curry that is another issue because he would be 50 and still look like a kid.

If we keep beating them, that may change.

It is definitely embarrassing and dumb to be the #1 Fertitta fan.

When they can't talk $hit on his game they talk $hit on the man's concentration because it looks "silly" to them.... Next they gonna say they don't like the way he dresses....
