nice game by the brookster. he has a draymond-esque type of affect whenever he makes his 3s it's absolutely demoralizing for the other team.
Gotta give massive credit to the coaching staff. Grizzlies were never able to convince him to improve his shot selection. Everyone thought that would persist. Instead we see he's taking 3 fewer shots per game and repeating the same type of shots (that I assume he works on) within the offense rather than going rogue ISO as he used to. His 2P% is significantly up too so I don't think it's just a fluke shooting streak. Defense has been excellent. I was highly critical of the price tag but fine about it now. Hope he can stay above 38% shooting for the season, that would place him in an elite category and make him a perfect long term contending role player.
As a bronsexual I hated this man and wished he got shipped off to China after LeBron sonned him as a Grizzly. This year I would follow Dillon Brooks straight into hell. I can't believe I love this guy. He's like a swole Pat Bev that actually has talent and plays fundamentally good defense.
I already knew the LeBron stans were the main reason for the hate he got, glad to see you can admit it. Now, if you could just do something about that whole Bronsexual thing.
Haha never go full with your emotions.....not riding the highs and drop to the lows.... I never followed the trend so there is that......actually I was never among those that wanted him actually out of the league when he was a Grizzly.
I do want to point out that over the last 10 games, Dillon is shooting "only" 36.2% from three. That's fine--if he ends the season above that number I'll be very happy. But it's far cry from his scorching-hot start. I'm also getting more annoyed by the way he plays. When he gets the ball, you know he's almost certainly going to shoot it, even if it's a bad contested shot. That just is who he is. I'm really glad that he seems to have lessened some of his worst tendencies--he's at least taking fewer shots and doesn't seem upset about it--and improved his shooting stroke. But there's no denying that he does have a bit of a black hole mentality on offense and a tendency to get himself in foul trouble or ejected on defense. Nobody worried about his flaws was wrong about them. The biggest thing is he's just actually shooting it well so far. Hope that continues.
Ngl I thought he would have been similar to pat bev but he's clearly been playing extremely well for his role on our team. I think him getting clowned on by Lebron and being dropped by the grizzlies made everybody wary about his actual skillsets. Glad to have him as a rockets vet.
What is wrong with it? Maybe his visualizing whats going to happen during the game? Legit what is wrong with it lol **** is murray doing thats the question.
Whats not wrong with it? I guess we live on different planets. On mine it's not normal human behavior to go stare into space for a full minute by your opponents bench. Nor is it intimidating, or whatever its supposed to be. Hence the question - why? I can answer why for Murray: people mock weird things. He can't "visualize the game" on his end? With a friend? During a jam? With green eggs and ham?
I think it is just for show but you can have another take on it..... I'd rather he seek out Madonna or Carmen Elektra or be in Vegas like a Worm. Murray is his fellow Canadian so it is all just for fun.
Aye whatever gets him locked in, dude plays his heart out. If that helps him achieve that whats wrong with that? Maybe if more players did that they would play there hearts out? Who honestly cares, if doing something sort of chalk bullshit is a routine why cant some dude who may be actually visualizing the game on the defense end and picking up on little cues on what the offensive players are doing. Wish more players were weird then. Do you think Sengun talking to a basketball is weird?
