Did you see what Nico did to that Denver defense? Imagine what Keenan Allen is going to do to them. That’s a no doubter.
If the Texans don't beat the Jets, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. Especially if Dalvin Cook is their starting RB. Shouldn't be much drama. The defense should absolutely feast!
Guess the Eagles don't deserve to go to the playoffs then, because they got beat by the Jets, and Hurts was intercepted 3 times. I expect a big win, but the fact that they beat the Eagles just proves that anything can happen. I just don't want Slowik calling stupid plays, or getting too conservative like he did when we gave Carolina their only win this season.
That was 8 weeks ago. The Jets have tanked since then. It's hard to believe they were 4-3 at one time. They may not win another game this season. Unless the Texans have several TOs, this should be a shellacking.
Dude had nearly 1200 yards on 4.4 ypc and 8 TDs as the lead back just last year. I would gladly take him.
Weather is the most concerning thing about this matchup. If our passing game is effected we have no running game to rely on. We should still win on defense, but if we don’t score because of the conditions, then the team that has the least turnovers will win.
I'm tired of watching videos about how GREAT the Jets Defense is. It's not like they're shutting out opponents and losing 8 coin flips. BUF 16 DAL 30 NE 15 KC 23 DEN 21 PHI 14 NYG 10 LAC 27 LV 16 BUF 32 MIA 34 ATL 13 Total 251 For comparison HOU: BAL 25 IND 31 JAX 17 PIT 6 ATL 21 NO 13 CAR 15 TB 37 CIN 27 ARI 16 JAX 24 DEN 17 Total 249
A lot of folks around the country are tired of hearing how great CJ and the Texans are. Going to be rough sledding once a target is on your back. Texans must live up to the hype.
This is my greatest fear about this game. We are a passing team whether Slovic likes it or not and that weather could severely restrict our ability offensively. It then becomes a turnover game and a few bad breaks could be disastrous.
The weather might make Dameon Pierce a star Sunday. He's the perfect runner for the weather conditions. A North South runner in sloppy conditions who can hang onto the ball. This would have been a good start for Hutchinson, but we're getting used to short handed.
