    I just want to point out if they are so concerned about Chas in centerfield for defense, there's nothing that says he can't make it a point of emphasis and improve his range or arm this offseason and spring.

    Maybe he takes 10 pounds off...

    He was fine in 2022 apparently.

    I heard Toronto. Which would be a shock- but kind of cool. I get it from Ohtani's perspective. Also- Toronto should be a big money team but their ownership cheaps out. They have all the money in the world you could want and are the national team, but operate like a poverty franchise.

    I wonder for Ohtani he signs with Toronto with early opt outs. Apparently he admired Kikuchi when he was younger so to be able to be teammates would be cool for him. And if the owner is cheap, banking on no injuries and he opts out early so only have to pay him short term. Plus would make money on merchandise sales
