I'm old enough to remember when the GOP were the ones always accused of being Hawks and the Democrats didn't want to be the world police
I am curious, did that change when trump and maga republicans became pawns of vladimir putin who then attempted to interfere in the 2016 election?
Dunno. Not sure why Democrats, or anyone, cares so much about Ukraine. I don't recall anyone caring when Russia stole 1/3rd of Ukraine in 2014. Now they are coming for the rest and people act like the world will stop spinning if they succeed.
Don't know why not in 2014, but the President at the time has voiced his opinion since, talking about the danger of complacency, then and now. Seems different, and the US should oppose continue Russian aggression. Unless, of course, you are supportive of putin's efforts. Obama: Ukraine war is a reminder of US complacency, taking democracy and ‘rule of law’ for granted https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/06/politics/barack-obama-putin-russia-ukraine-war/index.html
Those are certainly warning signs but I don’t recall specifically US politicians saying they Russia was on the verge of collapse. Do you have any specific quotes from politicians?
It was a Democrat president then and Republicans were the ones critical of not responding with more Than sanctions. That did change when Trump came to office. Also to note that a Democratic President did finally withdraw US troops from Afghanistan following a negotiation conducted under a Republican President.
Also to add the leading Republican candidate and several other Republicans have suggested using the US military in Mexico. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/04/10/gop-bomb-mexico-fentanyl-00091132
Funny how even the foxnews reporter said this was bullshit and Tucker is full of **** but who cares when you're a low iq MAGAT turd like yourself
Hes such an awful person. It's scary that there's tens of millions of people just as braindead as @Commodore Every day I lose more and more faith in this country. We're filled with nothing but low iq morons as citizens
how would you characterize that withdrawal, and the message it might have sent to interested foreign entities?
Jennifer Griffin is a defense department spokesman in all but name. She will print whatever they leak to her without question. Like most "journalists" these days, she depends entirely on having access to the powerful, and not upsetting them, or she stops getting their leaks.
Jennifer was the first one bashing biden for his Afghanistan withdrawal and was the first one standing up for the idf and bashing biden for his response. The idea that she's somehow a biden fan is hilarious. How do you not get tired of your bullshit Jennifer has real sources in the senate and is one of the most respected reporters in the pentagon. The idea that tucker knows more than her is hilarious. It's just insane how the right has to live on fear 24/7. It's so pathetic way to live life
How do you characterize trump calling putin a "genius and very savvy" on the eve of the Russian invasion? What sort of message did that show to the world about the GOP? How do you characterize trump threatening to leave NATO while calling Putin a genius? You people can't let right wing losers like @basso control the narrative.
Can you find anyone who, last week, said Russia is on the verge of collapse? And in case you missed it, the sanctions are working, even by your own silly measure where you tried to pretend that the Ruble's increase in value back in 2022 was a sign they weren't working. I know you probably just switched measures to whatever obscure thing might show what you hope to be true, but by virtually any metric, the sanctions are working. In terms of the military, it's been nearly 2 years; Russia has had time to regroup. As many of were us saying last year, the US had a unique opportunity to force the issue when Russia was in disarray and in retreat. That particular opportunity has passed, but Russia still has not shown the ability to win. Ukraine is making slow/small progress, but they do have a limited time because Russia has more resources both in money and manpower; they still need assistance to help them actually win. You just keep regurgitating nonsense; it wasn't right a year ago and it's still not correct today. You just seem to ill-informed to know any better.
