OKC supporters p.... off about Alperen trade and were commenting at Reddit something similar to: "Rockets commentators will talk about us giving Sengun to Houston. Bit...., we did not give him to you, we sold you a pick and you drafted him". Seeing their anger is priceless.
Funny thing is, I thought Alpi had kind of a subpar game. Not just the missed free throws, I felt like he could have taken over more, and gone after rebounds more aggressively. But he kinda let Bari have them tonight, and he didn't really force it much on offense, he was just content for the team to get the win. But he needs to fix the damn free throws, I mean, seriously. And take those open threes.
(I'd say it was mostly Bari, but yes, both Bari and Alpi together. They even benched Chet for most of the 4th quarter.)
Get Rick Barry or Mahmood Abdul-Rauf for few training session and force him to make 10.000 FTs. 3 points: There is a little chance him to become 40% 3pt shooter. Then, it is better him not to force 3pts shots. It is not pragmatic.
Well, did you see how he scored like a DAWG in that game... now you should believe that he got that superstar aura with that highly efficient 15 burger...
What a stupid tweet. I can't recall his other buckets. But I distinctly remember two of them. It's when his eyes lit up that Jabari was defending him and not Sengun. He went straight at Jabari. Got straight by Jabari. Scored on Jabari. No such thing on Sengun. In fact, Chet got embarrassed by Sengun on both ends tonight when matched up with each other. Editing my comment: I looked at the box score and saw '4' next to Chet - I thought that was GFM - but it was points. So all his points came against Jabari.
