Everyone except Amen and Cam should be on the table in February. They can have green and sengun and Nets picks Hope it happens I said we are contenders We have the talent to be contenders but that talent is soft and spoiled Problem is we are soft as extra soft puffs tissue paper Our main offensive star is SUPER SOFT ... Green If joel is ever an option , go for it We are on Joel's short list of teams he would play for..it's the udoka card Discuss
I'd rather not and run with Sengun as the big-man we build around. Likely to be in the league longer and I actually think more likely to have a chance at a ring than if Embiid came here.
Absolutely not. Our rebuild is on schedule. The timeline's all wrong, and the downside risk is unacceptable for us at this point.
Yes Embiid is good. Have you thought had all however about the logistics of such a trade? I can throw out a lot of top players who would be good. Embiid earns almost 47mil a year. How are we matching that? Oladipo and Jalen get us to about 20mil. Without including Brooks or FVV this does not work. But why trade away the new culture guys who are doing well? You just said we are soft so we can't lost either of them. I am not a big Green believer either. But I can not see an Embiid deal happening at all. It is better we focus on the future star center that we already have and others that fit his timeline.
The Sixers are doing pretty well. They're in position to have a lot of cap room this offseason. Something would have to shift for Embiid to want out. But yeah, the Udoka-Embiid connection would be one to watch if he did ask out of Philly.
A Sengun type just won the NBA Finals and is superior to Embiid in almost every relevant way. 90% of Jokic (Sengun) is still better than all of Joel Embiid. Joel Embiid is Center Harden. Regular season dynamo. Playoff bozo.
Embiid is a great player, but his health concerns me. I don't think he has literally ever been healthy in the playoffs.
And the only way we get a different starting center is if they decide Alpi's playing the 4. We aint about to trade the best prospect we have for a vet at the end of his prime who's held together with duct tape.
