Th The numbers are OK except assists. The last game against Lakers he was 10/5/4 at the half-time and finished 21/10/5. He was very busy in "Brick Lane" (this is a London metaphor, may not apply to non-Uk audience) together with Jalen Green and forgot assisting. Points and rebs number doubled, assists stagnated.
Sengun is already better than all-NBA player Sabonis at a much younger age. Shame he is not a lob threat though.
I like Alperen in the post, but I like him even more as the guy skipping passes over the defense, making plays that Fred can’t. More off-ball skips, movement and actions for Jabari, Fred and JG please.
I think Alperen could become a 20-25 shots a game sort of guy eventually, but right now it is his passing that we need to amplify, so that we can maximize specifically Jabari, and JG too.
Shows he still has a LONG way to go to reach Jokic's level. And growth is not necessarily linear. Still, he is already right around all-star level if he keeps this up. Just a big difference between an all-star and a (should have been) threepeat MVP
