I don’t see the point. If anything I would try to trade the pick for a later pick etc. set up for a trade next season or the one after. After the young guys improve and you know more what you need. Then cash in when you are likely a better team. You already are out of the doldrums of the last 3 years as is.
Why would we want Bogdanovic anyway? A 33-year-old, 6'7" good-not-great forward? Don't we have like 5 younger guys around that size who all need minutes? Just get a backup center, get Amen back, and run with that until at least the trade deadline (probably at least the offseason, tbh).
Bridges would be a massive improvement and what farm are we selling. The 2024 Net's pick is going to suck. We already have a massive amount of young talent that we are going to have to pay. Bridges is what we hope Jalen can become and is signed for 3 years at approximately 21M per year. This trade would catapult us into an almost for sure playoff position and position us to be even better next year with Cam, Amen, Sengun, and Jabari improving exponentially. We will also have plenty of money in '25.
Tate is looking at this awful bait trade that makes Kelly Iko's abominations look good in comparison and thinking "what the heck did I do?"
I would keep Tate on the team, but we need a package to trade Suangan away. A trade for a franchise player like Turner is not an easy thing to do.
Can you give me your reason for calling me a troll? Do you really deny that Turner is a MAJOR UPGRADE?
Yeah, and as you might be able to tell, I don't want to play for this $hit ass team. Get me over to play with Udoka. I want to get to the Finals this year.
The 24nets, and the 26nets pick as well as green who is a blue chip prospect whether you like it or not. Trading all your flexibility and future for a 27yo win now player when your core is all 21 or so is silly. Mikal helps competing teams, not teams trying to build.
