That's not really true. I the past players played 2-3 yrs in college and entered NBA at age 21-23. Jalen's age right now is the same age as Mj's rookie year and obviously Jalen is no MJ.
You should just change your profile name to JalenOnlyFan at this point. You really don't seem to like anyone else, or appreciate anyone else.
There are few nba players who can score 17 points per game in his rookie’s year; 22 points per game in his 2nd year and right now is 8th in scoring within shooting guards. The hardest thing to do in the NBA is too score points in the NBA at a young age. We have to work with him! Cade Cunningham is scoring about the same and is a inefficient shooter, Suggs have been better this year but he can only score 12 points a game…we have to work with him
Important to note that nearly every rebuilding team that goes through a multi year tank is going to have to accept that there’s likely to be a player or two that the team has to let go or let walk in free agency either because: -the player hasn’t proven himself enough yet and another team takes a riskier bet (ex RFA) -the team has made too many commitments on other young players that haven’t hit yet and the team doesn’t want to pay for another big extension. -the team drafted so good that they have too many future stars that need to be extended and the team makes a decision to let the worst of the best go or trade them for low cost assets (see OKC and Harden). The only scenario I see happening for the rockets with Jalen is the first one imo. If Jalen hasn’t shown it by then than if a team wants to take that gamble at that point then I say more power to them. You got a decent 6th man type scorer on a rookie deal for 2 years and he’s walking after that to take a big bloated pay day. If Jalen explodes next year and then goes to RFA than great… shouldn’t be an issue to pay the max when matching a big offer. I wish we were in a place where OKC was with KD/Russ/Harden where that type of hard decision has to be contemplated but that’s historically rare. Usually teams are caught in the 2nd scenario, and I don’t fault Tillman too much if we gotta let one of our youngsters walk. Him and Stone will be judged by the sum of the whole of the parts.
Clearly infected the team with his Weak Mentality™, lack of Will to Win™, and was both Scared of The Moment™ and chucked us out of the game at the same time.
He's gotta try to take over one quarter every game. Defenders **** bricks when he runs like that. 9 assists, and a handful of passes that were not converted on the other side to boot.
DD: KPJ is technically a rookie, even though he was in his 3rd season, because he didn't play that many games in his first two seasons. Also DD: Jalen Green is in his 4th season, because 18 games of G-League counts as one season. Future DD: Jalen Green is technically in his 21st season, because his professional career in life started 21 years ago. Also KPJ deserves another shot in the NBA because he is technically only a freshman in college.
He's coping after losing kpj so he's taking his frustration out on green. If kpj ever put up this type of performance, man would have unloaded and needed a new set of underwear. U figure fans would b happier seeing this type of performance from green, but nah folks still pining for the likes of kpj and mobley.
Really efficient game tonight. Still a glorified Clarkson but liked him a lot. His 3rd great game this season (not good, great and yes i'm counting)
It really feels like JG/Jabari/Alperen are in good hands. If they don't become great pros, it is on them.
Don't look now, but that's 3/4 games with good efficiency! Is this the start of an upward trend?? Find out in next week's episode! (I hope we stop having such long breaks between games...)
