As disappointing as that quarter was.... we played an avg quarter and DEN shot out of their mind from 3.

There's not a great chance of comeback, but I feel optimistic that we can keep this in striking distance from this point.

 

• 2nd night of a B2B.
• On the road, at altitude.
• Playing against the reigning NBA champions at nearly full strength, who got there by having an amazing offense, and are undefeated at home.
• And most importantly, no FVV. Do not underestimate his defensive contributions just because he's a 6-footer. He is a floor general on both ends of the court.

Just as I expected

 

^The Joke is on the loser fans for the loser teams who preemptively posted things like "ZOMGS IST SO DUMB MESSING WITH SANCTITY OF NOVEMBER BASKETBALL XTRA GAMES LOAD MANAGEMENT" then maintained this fiction after it was patiently explained to them that no - these were not in fact, extra games.

Then they STFU'd for awhile after it was...in fact, good, and, in fact, exciting.

And are now back to "Meh I never cared about the tournament anyway, I'm glad we lost!" and can cite their watery mushy school lunch meatball of an initial take which reminds me of my 11 year old when I ask him to try a food that is not pizza or french fries.

I also like the haters who are now mad that it was not extra games - some dipshit was doing that earlier. 5 stars, will ignore those guys again.
