No it's not. The franchise is trending up with or without Jalen Green. Hell, it can't get worse than it already was over the previous 3 seasons.
How is our franchise going to contend without a star guard of Jalen's caliber? Do you truly believe we can find someone better? He has all of it in one package: scoring, defense, clutch points... I don't believe we can make it to the playoffs without him. Don't even tell me Shinjin is capable of achieving any success.
Unbelievable...I now understand why Jalen lacks the same level of passion on the court as before. We have caused him mental damage. Our actions are the reason for his hesitations during games. He knows it's impossible to please our fans. No matter how many points he makes against the current champion, he will never satisfy them. Unfortunately, our fan base doesn't truly appreciate him. It's a sad reality, but true nonetheless.
Can you please tell me where I do "trolling"??? Didn't we contribute to Jalen's mental breakdown? It's evident on the court.
It is not until we acknowledge Jalen and ask for his forgiveness that we will give him our full support. Have we not caused immense suffering to our young star? Why would we risk demolishing our beloved franchise by ignoring such a generational scoring threat? Let us all ask ourselves and each other these important questions. You all know that Jalen reads what is written here.
LOL - Jalen is a 4th year professional - if he isn't getting better now, and working on his weaknesses he isn't gonna.....time to move on from him, I think. DD
That has gotten better - but his handle still sucks, his left hand is non existent, he has ZERO clue how to play off the ball as a SG - so yeah, weaknesses. DD
A Clarkson type doesn't move the needle for me either even if he is a slightly more efficient player. I really don't think he makes the team much better. If you are letting him hit RFA, it's obvious that there is a price point that you are uncomfortable going above. But it's likely that some GM would overpay in RFA and we'd come away empty handed, it makes better sense to make a deal that does improve the team. I'd take a guy who shoots ~38% from three & plays good defense that could contribute to winning even if that guy doesn't have the same dynamic potential to be a "go to scorer" if the alternative is to let Jalen walk via RFA. I don't know if there's a team out there that would give you that ~38% shooter / good defender in exchange for Green ....
MJ spent 3 yrs in college and he also happens to be one of the goats. Jalen has little to no chance of reaching that height but that doesn't mean he still can't be a max player which is really all we need from him.
Not sure what you are talking about Jalen has given no indication he has lost his passion playing for the Rockets. It's just a month into Ime's first season, there will Def be transition struggles from him cuz this is his first time in a winning org, prior to NBA he spent his year with GLeague Ignite who also got clobbered in the GLeague and was more focused on development. So every year he's played he hasn't been on a team that demands accountability on him, this is his first year having that, that's part of why he is struggling. And again it's only been 1 month. CF just makes mountains out of molehill and overreacts as per usual.
What is your objective? Can't you just like this whole team? Jalen doesn't need to take 30 shots per game for this team to win. Actually, maybe Jabari should be taking as many shots as Jalen. Learn to appreciate everyone instead of being a Jalen took only fan. We have a lot of great players.
