We definitely still displayed resiliency again, on the road.

    But damn,
    • Not securing the ball after Jalen’s two blocks (leading to 5pts by Dallas)
    • Brooks bailing out a late 3pt attempt with a touch foul (3pts by Dallas)
    • Kyrie’s flop (2 pts by Dallas)
if two of those four plays go our way, we likely win. Note, if Kyrie’s flop is a no-call, that’s a fastbreak the other way.

We dont have the requisite shooting necessary to compliment a player like Sengun. This team doesnt need to "unlearn" anything it needs to redirect its personnel moves towards a heliocentric big man vs a guard attack spread offense. It doesnt work when you try to switch up philosophy on every other possession. Go find a couple more elite 3&D players.

Someone else mentioned it but there was a lot of missed assignments. More than any game I can remember outside of Orlando. The game was sealed on a missed assignment. They're still learning.

Jalen's defense vs last year is...I'm not even sure if dramatically improved is the right word for it. He had some of the best defensive stands yesterday. His offense is obviously the issue but his athleticism has really stood out when blocking shots. I think he blocked Luka twice. Holiday proceeded to throw the second one away though.

Dillon fouls too much. He needs to be smarter. We could've won yesterday if he hadn't fouled multiple times in the 4th. He's the defensive leader of the team and needs to be better. His 3 pointer is coming back down to earth.

Sengun had the yips early. The whole team did. We fought to get back in it and had a terrible end to the 3rd as well which is pretty much where the game was lost. Basketball is a game of runs and the team that gets ahead early usually wins.

We've lost to 3 desperate California teams, the Mavericks, Orlando game 1 and the Spurs on the road before anyone had Wemby film. Our road schedule has been brutal. And now we get to play ****ing Denver. On to the next.

NBA needs to review that Kyrie flop. Or improve arena security, because he looked like he'd been hit by a f'ing missile.

Feel like Amen would have really helped out this game. Lively was a menace on the boards keeping so many possessions alive. If Ausar is averaging 9.5 rebounds a game. Amen surely would snag 7-8 boards which would have led to some easy transition baskets.

FVV getting torched for 41 and abusing Jalen is what's funny.

Why do I need a burner to prove JG is indispensable to us?

Oh shet, they scheduled another @denver game in December for the IST Losers and OKC at home.....

    Those games are brand new.

But to makes things bearable, you get another crack at beating San Antonio YaMama and 2x Grizzlies.

Amen will help tremendously. It alllows Dillon to continue to play ultra-aggressive defense and when he gets in foul trouble Amen can come in with little degradation in defense. He also provides another very capable rebounder.

That Dillon "foul" on Kyrie being upheld and Kyrie not receiving a flopping tech is both the most and least shocking thing ever smh. Man I hate the lack of consistency and transparency of the refs.

This is also the 2nd game where Dillon made an extremely low IQ defensive play that significantly hurt our chances of winning the game.

Other than that young players played like young players and couldn't close the game. Hopefully we start seeing some growth as a team and can win a tight road game eventually.

That was such a BS call. No way in hell they looked at that and decided it was a foul unless they were intentionally trying to give Dallas an edge. I mean seriously, WTH?

I really enjoyed the game, even if we did lose. I wouldn't call us mediocre at all, regardless of our record. We could have won last night, but got stupid with a couple fouls, and weren't hitting the 3's well enough. There were some great moments though, and they came from all our guys. When our bench came in they were fun to watch. I'm liking Eason a lot, as well as the others. I would like to see Jabari take more shots. He's blooming before our eyes.

The Rockets will play the Oklahoma City Thunder next Wednesday (Dec. 6) at Toyota Center. They will then go back to Denver next Friday (Dec. 8).

We all knew that we would struggle from 3 this year. I think the thinking was Holiday and Bullock would be the sharpshooters off the bench. Holiday has been decent, but not great. Bullock has been a total bust. If we can make a trade for a backup big and a vet sharpshooter before the trade deadline, it would help our play-in/playoff push tremendously.

Luca is an all world player; we don't have anyone even close to his level. Apparently Denver is on the Rocket's schedule every other day.

What are we going to do with Bullock and Oladipo? Denver could use Oladipo, but may go get Poole. Bullock just doesn't seem to fit but he's a good player.
