Road game woes

Woe was me.

 

We'll change the woe into "WOAH!" soon enough.

I have nothing but faith in this Rockets' squad.

 

They've mostly been close games against good teams. With the way we're playing, we'll steal a few games from the good ones and blow out the bad ones.

I'll start worrying when we lose road games to bad teams. Very hard to beat teams like the Lakers and Clippers when its 8 on 5 on the road.

 

Most are 'coulda won' games, when think like this i feel much better.

 

They all have been except the Magic game.

 

Last year teams just played around with us and finished the job in the 3rd, never really taking us seriously. Now they have to play hard until the end to get a win. Sooner or later we will start to win on the road.

 

We have had a very tough road schedule, only bad loss was against Spurs and that was a choke. We also choked the Clipper game and lost very tight games to Lakers and Mavs.

This team is competing but the guys who need to step up to close out road games are still very young (Sengun, Jalen, Jabari). Not surprised they haven't been able to figure it out yet but it'll come.

 

Yup we have a good solid team but we aren’t good enough to overcome garbage officiating.

 

At home we have.

 

Almost all one or two possession games. Young team makes mistakes in the clutch. I’m encouraged they are fighting hard and keeping games close against good teams on the road.

 

It's hard not to be homesick

They play better with a sparcely filled lower bowl because of the proximity of the walls to their practice court.
