With my infinite trust in Ime, I am guessing there is a reason why Tari sat. Maybe he'll say something about it.

People are expecting way too much from Jalen and Jabari. They are young AF. Jalen is still growing into his body (he’s light as a feather and has struggled at times against physical defenses) and Jabari is 20 y/o! The team is headed in the right direction. They have an identity, a culture, they play hard, and they are fun to watch. Be happy and enjoy the process. I see improvement every game.

 

I think confidence problems happen to very young players...basically as a whole. You factor in the WASTED Silas time ( not just Jalen but Bari,Tari, etc as well) and it becomes a growth process. As good as Alpy is...he has down games. Cudos top tari as well.

 

Brook's foul with 1 sec left that gift them 3 FT with 3min left in the game and down by 6... lack of awareness of the shot clock and situation.

 

I wouldn’t be shocked if Ime sent Jalen down to the G League after this game tonight.

 

You can't build up confidence by giving the ball more to the player if he doesn't have a skill that he can apply consistently. Jalen's shooting mechanics is off and he is not skilled enough yet to finish his drives efficiently.

I don't think ime would let jalen take many more shots at this moment.

 

I like Jalen Green, but we need to move on. Jalen Green is not the guy we always want.

 

Why isn't there more heat on Fred Van Vleet? Jalen gets all the heat, but Fred gets none

Fred shoots under 40 percent from the field and stunk it up tonight

 

Jabari can make really tough shots--and it seems to me like he's figured something out. Plus, he's always competitive and really worked his butt off getting boards today.

If we look at his last 10 or so games, his efficiency has been pretty wild as well.

This is the Jabari that everyone said would be the number 1 overall pick.

 

Tari was very visibly frustrated when he was taken out, not sure about what though, could have been about something.

I know for a lot of coaches a young player complaining about getting taken out is means for a bench spot for the rest of the game.

 

Listen I love Jalen and root for Jalen as much as anyone.
He's been my favorite Rocket with Alpie a close second.
Amen's at the top now though.
This doesn't however stop me from being realistic about Jalen.

I think people need to stop mentioning him in the same breath as Kobe!
They're actually polar opposites as players imo and the difference between the two is on the INSIDE, not the outside!
And I love and still root for Jalen.

Apart from the first quarter shooting. He was good

 

Because fvv is irrelevant for long term plans. We heavily depend on Green developing well.

edit: also he is a good pg regardless of his shooting.

Fred is a journeyman for us, an outsider, a transition period player. Jalen is a homegrown player, an original Rocket.

 

This. CF is full of delusional and toxic posters. If anybody said Rox were gonna be in this position in preseason the board would have called him crazy.

 

When we play good teams and Jalen shoots inefficient like he did tonight, it's always going to be tough to win.

Like, Al-P felt like he was missing too many gimmes but you take a look at the box score and see he still scored efficiently.

Jalen even on good nights, he's taking 30 shots to score 25 points.
