Especially when they’re allowed to get away with blatant flopping.

 

We have accustomed to watch mental lapsed players (KPJ,CWood,Jalen Green,...) every game. Why this principle applies to only Tari Eason?

When you reward a bench player if not 11p/8rebs/ plus 9 performance?

idk why holiday yeet the ball so hard when he was trying to save it out of bounds. he had green and FVV right there.

 

Just focus on the positives lads.

1- The Rockets have found the frontcourt duo that's going to play together for a decade.
2- Sengun made 4/4 ft in the clutch time which is the first time he made all fts in the clutch since he got drafted i believe.
3- Jabari Smith Jr is CLUTCH 3 point shooter.

 

The worst fear is admitting Bill Simmons being right for once on his Jalen green opinion if this continues this season

Man yall be laying in wait to dunk on Jalen man. It's not going to be over night sh*t. Dude has no confidence to take over like he did his rookie year. Ime has clearly said the hierarchy starts with Sengun. As much as everyone says Jalen is selfish, he is fine just letting others take leadership. Dude has to build back his swag.

 

All we had to do was win the game. Didn't need to blow anybody out.

Chill the f out everyone. Yes 0-6 on the road sucks but most everyone seems to expect too much from this Rockets team. A year ago they would have gotten blown out. This year they are playing well enough to win. They are playing hard and for the most part playing the right way. These are growing pains and overall the play has been more than encouraging.

That said, I think lack of quality bench depth is a bit of a problem. We need a scorer off the bench. Keeping EG might have helped but hopefully the trade and/or buyout market can help. Getting Amen back should help too.

Keep your heads up everyone. The Rockets have a good young squad and will learn from these losses.

They are salary fillers in transition period. I don't care whether they perform or not but angry with Jalen's regress (he shouldbe 25-28 ppg player so far), Tari's limited playing time.

 

Yeah, I knew that wasn't right.

 

That's why the ceiling for this team is limited imho.
But the culture however has been reset and the locker room set on the correct course.
Either a couple of our young-uns will have to take a big step forward or we'll have to draft/trade for at least 1 more star player to really compete for a championship.

 

Amen is who we want to be the starting PG since that's why we drafted him.

Only thing I'm sure about when it comes to our young players right now today is I think Sengun and Jabari are locks. They both bring a lot to the team, complement each other well, and I could see these two starting 6 years from now.

Brooks is a temporary starter to be replaced by Eason or Cam and FVV is a temp starter to get replaced by Amen.

Green is who knows. At home he's Kobe Bryant and on the road he's Nick Young. We just have to find consistency from Green sometime this season.

They're mad. Need someone to blame. Jalen needs to understand why his stuff isn't working and needs to understand it faster. If/when he does, the Rockets will be a contender. Either that or Jabari develops a semi-confident dribble. Both have issues that need ironing out.

 

I hope Coach Ime makes adjustments.

It's time to start feeding Al-P early and often.

Eason needs more minutes, he is already out best defensive/energy guy. Brooks is a tone setter at best. Eason has the tools
