Well, he probably still has that custom UH grill. But didn’t he leave town in a very disrespectful way. Just left his company car on the side of the road or something as he hotfooted it out of town?
Back in the day, any time I tried to start dating an ex girlfriend it never worked out well. No to Tom Herman.
Traylor would be a really good hire for y'all. He'll run a solid program and knows east Texas recruiting about as anyone in the country.
Kliff Kingsbury with that high of odds is surprising. Not overly impressed with any of the candidates TBH. Can't remember his name but the guy that coached me in Oak Forest Dad's Club league football would be better than what we just parted ways with. Decisions decisions. Whoever it is going to be has probably already been decided.
I'm really enjoying reading all the posts in different site from utsa and tulane fans saying how we're not really a step up lol. u know they type of posts "his wife loves the city" or "he's building something special here why would he leave" haha finally we're the evil p5 school
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...oach-interview-utsa-jeff-traylor-18519716.php UTSA coach Jeff Traylor will interview for the job at the University of Houston on Tuesday, a person with knowledge of the situation said. This is believed to be at least a second interview with the school, the source said. UH's search has focused on Traylor, Tulane's coach Willie Fritz and TCU coach Gary Patterson. UNLV coach Barry Odom, UNLV offensive coordinator Brennan Marion, Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein and Texas assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Jeff Banks are also considered potential candidates. Spoiler 24 hours ago, he also said Patterson.
Lol. The only head coach we ever "hired away" from another program was getting Dana Dimel from Wyoming. I don't count Holgo since he was a lame duck at WVU. It does indeed feel weird to be the hunter and not the hunted for once.
In the last hour I have seen the job is Traylor's if he wants it and Kingsbury has emerged as the leading candidate. I don't believe **** until an announcment is made these media guys are just throwing **** against the wall hoping something sticks and they look smart for the tweet universe.
Spoiler Fritz Traylor Odom . . . . . . Patterson https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...oach-interview-utsa-jeff-traylor-18519716.php UTSA’s Jeff Traylor and Tulane’s Willie Fritz remain among a short list of top candidates for the job, a source with knowledge of the search said Tuesday. Traylor, 55, who has led UTSA to a pair of conference titles and four straight bowl appearances, interviewed for the job on Tuesday. It is believed to be the second time this week that Traylor has spoken with UH. Sources said Gary Patterson, the winningest coach in TCU history who stepped down midway through the 2021 season, and UNLV coach Barry Odom are also serious candidates.
Tom Herman went out of his way to be a complete jerk when he left UH. Insider stuff. I have no respect for the man.
2025 recruiting class out of Houston area is huge, gotta get it right and hopefully some players stay home.
