3 calls you can overcome. But they were 'sleep walking' because they negated those receptions. The golden Child, Burrow in Cincinnati wasn't getting that kind of love. Only a SB contender could come out of those penalties. Not even close to that yet.
Hopefully it's addressed in FA and the draft. A fast young defense would be a great thing, but the Texans weren't beating the Ref's and the Jags today.
Lovie comes in to coach for Steichen who is away on a family matter. Coaches the Colts, who are not in the running for a playoff spot, and manages to defeat the Texans thus keeping them from the playoffs in a must win game for them…. lovie giveth, lovie taketh. *Scene*
I agree with you however the second to last possession hurt too with the 2 long throws on 3rd and half a yard. Also I would have trust cj with the ball on 4th and 12 more than Amendola on a 56 yarder. Don't get why demeco thinks he can hit 50 plus when he has repeatedly shown he had no business kicking from that distance
This is an accurate assessment of the game. The Texan's line play was some of the worst of the season.
I said that before BoB’s team went 11-5 made the playoffs and had a 24-0 lead on the Chiefs. By the way, I wanted BoB fired after the Bills game. Never wanted him as GM. cmoak never wanted Stroud, never gave him a chance. Said he was one the worst athletes at QB and we would regret not having Young or waiting for Drake Maye. He thought Mayo boy would be a better QB. This is par for the course for him. His prospect evaluation is just terrible. I never backed BoB, but I did think as along as the players played for him, he should stay. When they stopped, he was dismissed. You can you disagree with that premise, but that goes for any coach. The players played for BoB until 2020. Not giving Stroud a chance because he went to OSU and ignoring his play, was just plain dumb and proved cmoak doesn’t know **** about football.
why is it cool to crap on josh allen, seems like a good dude overall. Yea he is a bit turnover prone but he is still rated pretty highly by pff and still has accounted for over 30 total td's this szn. I'd rather have josh allen over hurts or lamar jackson
First, literally none of this is true and you’re putting words in my mouth. I never said Levis was better than Stroud, I said he had higher physical upside, same as AR. I said if we take a QB at 2 I preferred Bryce but I wanted Anderson first and get QB the following draft. Maye and Williams are elite prospects. But because Maye is white, you don’t like him. Talk about complete nonsense and not knowing what the hell you’re talking about. You are flat out lying and putting words in my mouth to make you seem smarter than you are. And you slurped BOB for years, it’s all there in the posts you clown. I admitted I was wrong about Stroud, very early, but I haven’t been “wrong” about anything else you’ve talked about. You have been wrong for years and too stupid/arrogant to admit it.
You know what they say about arguing with an idiot, they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with their experience . No , but seriously Scarface has and always will be a clown.
This game did seem a bit scripted. The result was having a final score near the betting line. Both sides could find reasons for ref interference, but rather than just saying it was inept, we should consider the possibility both sides are correct. 1. Procedure calls which were not illegal. 2. Flagrant fouls that were not called. 3. Tiky tak fouls called. 4. Worse fouls not called. The common thread seemed to keep the score close. Gambling in bed with sports will always make one wonder, even if it's not provable.
We basically gave up two #1s, a two, and are paying him 1.6 million per game. He's played 56 games and the Texans have paid him 92 million for that. The problem is getting anything significant. He has a huge cap number and teams know he's trash in the run game. I would think a second is best case for him.
