I literally didn’t say anything about O rating and D rating. Why are you even bringing up KPJ? It’s weird.

I’m giving you context. Playtype and frequency along with PPP for said plays.
    PNR roll man
    PNR ball handler
    ISO
    Post up
    Spot up
It’s all there, you just have to look

RAPTOR says Sengun is the best defensive player on this team, but KPJ is the best offensive player - do you agree with that?

Bc its the same delusional mindset kpj stans and sengun fans share.
Sengun is not a good defensive center. Period.

Hes a serviceable one that can get by as a starting center due to his incredible playmaking/ability on the offensive side, but he's not gonna wow anyone or stop much with his defensive ability.

Yes there's even weaker defenders on the team but that doesn't mean by default sengun is a good defender.

Sure good and serviceable could b considered semantics, but If he was good at defense many on here wouldn't want a traditional big man all the time or to trade sengun.

I still think Sengun’s defense is made a lot worse by poor perimeter defense. Sure, he needs to improve his lateral speed and rotations, but he’s having to rotate faster and harder because the perimeter defense was so weak.
That’s okay when you have Hakeem behind you to block it. But it’s not Sengun’s fault Green and co couldn’t keep their man in front of them consistently.

That's a reasonable take. Sengun isn't as bad as of a defender as his haters like To paint him as where they need to find a starting center to replace him, but he isn't a good enough defender yet either.

Like i said sengun is currently a serviceable starting center for his offensive abilites not defensive.

I'm not sure how any of the moves say anything about Sengun, good or bad. Wanting good defensive players is common sense, that's what we've targeted.

Now with the team defense around him shored up significantly, we'll get a good look at what we're dealing with when it comes to Sengun's defense. It's hard to judge anybody when there's team wide dog s**t like last season defensively.

    From a pure statistical standpoint, yes. I don’t dislike KPJ, I just don’t think he’s a PG.

He’s at minimum serviceable and a lot better than any “traditional” center in the league.
In fact, how many can you name in the league?

    A lot better?
That's debatable. Some franchise/folks value different things in a center. I wouldn't outright say sengun is a lot better than any traditional center but I do believe sengun offensive capability in the paint/post is top tier compared to them.

I really do like sengun, but sometime the sengunatics take it too far with how much they hype up sengun. Awhile back we already had folks crowning him top 6 in the entire league and already deemed a franchise player by some.

If by traditional, you mean shot blocking/rim running. He’s a lot better.
By most statistics, Alp is a top 10 center currently.
I am by no means a SOF, but I’m not going to deny that he’s shown the most out of our young guys. I support all of Houston’s young players-besides Stroud. Can’t stand that kid

It is amazing how young our talent in houston is. Even our coaches are young.

Hey I just got into American Football (or just football lol I’m conflicted) and trying to understand the rules, action, META, players etc. Could you expand on why you dont like CJ?

It was a bias towards his school and management. Along with underestimating his abilities.
He’s proven me wrong and glad to admit that. Glad he’s our QB
