I think he is the heart of the team and the best facilitator, but I think Jalen will be the best player. When Jalen shows a bit of consistency this argument will go away. I do agree Goon is the best player right now though.
Dumb ppl have a history of being mostly wrong, and I'm almost never wrong. Put my post history up against yours & I'd destroy you, period. Learn who you're talking too
Fair. But Jalen is THAT guy and it'll be obvious within the next few years. He's just now learning how to tap into his potential, which is scary
no, he doesn’t. He is actually much less talented. You are blown away by the first step and athleticism. That’s about it. Sengun’s footwork, reads, use of his body, dexterity, body control, passing precision, court awareness is very high or elite. You are just saying when the next Sengun comes, I won’t recognize the talent. Sengun’s improvement rate, developing new shots, just by themselves screams talent. Green will also be a more negative on defense despite much easier assignment.
I would say that no team in nba history had 3 franchise players on the same team. The closest would be OKC i guess, but i wouldn't say russ was ever a franchise player. If we have one true franchise player on this team, that would be incredible. Odds are against that though
If not when because consistency is one the rarest form of traits in athletes. Cornerstones are not just elite they are consistently elite at least 75% of the season. They are consistently elite because of their fundamentals. Jalen doesn't have PG's, Booker's fundamentals. His shooting mechanics are worse, his handle isn't as good as theirs. People think that if someone plays 3 efficient games in a row they will make it a habit and will continue playing good forever and ever. This is one of the biggest mistakes fans make. Consistent players are consistent because they have very good fundamentals.
I still think it depends on who has the most room to grow and to me... thats Jabari! Sengun is MEAT AND POTATOES, you know what you're going to get; somewhere between 15 -20 ppg, 8 - 12 rpg and 6-10 assist. Those are good numbers, not great. Boderline All-Star. He's never going to give you 40 pts, he's never going to have those Harden type games that make you say, Jalen is flash, people want him to be a star; the Rocket's front office, the NBA, etc, so everything he does is magnified. A 30 pt game, slam dunks, etc. They want him to be Kobe - like. Jabari has the most tools and room to improve. Of the three, Jabari is the youngest and least developed. Sengun has been playing professionally since he was 15yrs old, Jalen will get better as he gets bigger but so will Jabari. Jabari showed what he can do during Summer League, when he was featured. Obviously, there are size and skill difference between SL players and Regular NBA players. But I see him slowly coming on after being benched in the 4th Qtr. Of the three, Jabari is the youngest and least developed. He has the most consistent inside and outside game, he is better defensively than the other two, and he can block shots, he just need the time to develop.
Jalen is just getting his rythm right now. Once he starts finding his niche in the offense, this will go away quickly. Jalen Green is THAT guy
The two big ones that come to mind are Sengun and SIlas. I know you were a big Silas fan. Here's a few that I found in your post history-
Alpi is the most skilled. Jalen is the most explosive athlete. Jabari will become the best shooter and defender. Amen is likely more athletic than them all. They complement each other very well and the player with the most professional experience is the best right now.
