A lot of buzz on the broadcast about how much 'everyone loves the hometown hero design' 'even other teams are talking about it'. Aint nobody talking about it where I live in California, in fact I'm lucky if people even know who the rockets are.. Anybody have a different experience, and everyone they know loves the design? Could this be a potential rebranding direction?

Are those at home or on the road?

 

Jalen was 3-13 for 3pt, however I think Ime will be able to mold him into a better overall player. I would like to see them post Jalen up down low and I am sure he could jump over and shoot over any guard that's holding him.

The team is giving more effort on defense, but I wish we ran some more actions with off-the-ball screens on offense that manufactured some easier points instead of so much one-on-one.

Also, we really need someone who can make a 3 pointer consistently.

jg still couldn't shoot efficiently and we had to distort the offense to get him going
if he can't fit around alp and become efficient shooter/finisher and play solid d with alp in the middle then it is not going to work
this game is meaningless
need to see them fitting together against better competition

Also, Won 6 in a row going through Sengun. What is the point hater?

 

It doesn’t change anything other than when we play them in the season…we still play Denver 3 times and Dallas 4 times like usual.

 

See you in two weeks when Green plays good again and you can pipe up again.

yeah i know. we are in the group of death with all these contenders so we have to play them all early instead of having it spread out with bad teams in between. Rockets play all Denver games before the end of the year i think.

if rockets and ime didnt turn out to be a good-ish team we could have easily been swamped with L's early.

and it is so tough to get over the .500 mark in the hole early.

 

We did not lose because we were going through Sengun??? Seriously, Sengun has been our best player this season. Jalen just need to play with the flow of the offense….no hero ball please

 

Can someone from Houston media ask what's going on with the free throw discrepancies.

-15, -14, -19, -10, +15, -6, -5.....and so on.

When Jalen started out cold, I wasnt a bit worried.

1. He was attacking and being agressive AND commited. Was just missing shots.
2. We needed him, to win.

He turned it around wonderfully. Although his warming up shots were bad selections, he made them and then used his gravity to pull the right plays! This is exactly what we need him to be. It opened up so much on offense while Alpi was having a bad game. Just what a star player should be doing!

Alpi and Jalen chemistry man <3 When Alpi realized he is cold and Jalen is not, he also tried to involve him as much as possible. They will carry eachother many times, will be a great duo. YEARS TO COME
