That's why percentages alone means absolutely nothing. Banchero is obviously superior to a simple catch and shooter.
Yes but he obviously has some efficiency issues based on every metric which is okay considering it's only his second year. Sengun on the other hand is on another tier in terms of efficiency
He does i don't deny it but he's on the right track i think. Already shoots better from 3pt line this season. He screams future superstar imo i dunno. Feel like he has all the tools. Such a complete prospect.
Year 2 Tatum has lower TS% than Year 1 Tatum. LOL. The thing is, Tatum is a perimeter player who can play some inside game. His shooting has been good from season 1. Banchero is supposed to be a big man who has great handles but very weak at outside shooting. His first season performance was exactly as advertised. But we are talking about Sengun. He is clearly outplaying Banchero. The only advantage on Banchero side is that he's one year less in the NBA. But I already pointed out that Sengun's first two years were under crappy situation while Paolo was in much better situation from the beginning. (BTW, the two guys are only 4.5 months apart in age.)
Love the swagger I only really have three significant criticisms of Alpi so far this season: Make your damn free throws dude, 61% is not okay and I know you're better than that. Stop hesitating or giving up the shot when they leave you wide open for three or a midrange jumper. You can hit those, just shoot in rhythm. Stop complaining to the refs so much. If it's an egregious missed call, I get it, but you're jawing at them on every third possession some games. Other than that he's meeting or exceeding expectations in every area. Go get it goon
Didn't like him yesterday. Injured or not if you show up you need to give your best and if he was injured he should've told Ime. That's sabotating the team imo. That being said if he doesn't play that r****d from Australia will so there's that. Also i don't get this you don't need to play every game the season is long we are possibly gonna make playins if your situation gets worse we are ****ed. He needs to something about his ft. Probably should work with a coach to fix it. He did very well against JJJ. He was 7/21 last night that dude is a nothing i'm telling you. Maybe i'm wrong thinking like this but i really really do not trust the guys who live in FT line. Embiid and JJJ are the two guys that heavily rely on free throws. I think it somewhat softens your game. These type of players do not have winner genes. They will look good in regular season but that's it. I think his 3pt shooting is legit. Great that he finally has range. Refs are still screwing him. Needs to cut down the turnovers. We move.
