So you feel its your JOB to protect Green, Dillon, Sengun and others from other people commenting on their play??

I notice a lot of things with SOHs:

    - even if things transpire completely opposite of what they claimed, they think that they are still right.
    - they don't know the difference between an opinion and an easily falsified claim
    - when Sengun doesn't have a perfect game, which is always, they tend to talk about the missed free throw, or the turnover etc.
    - they frequently change what they say, because in so little time sengun disproves them wrong

No wonder your assessment on sengun is so bad, since you can't even see assess Jokic even after he's reached peak levels, and mention that he won a championship because he made incredible shots. LOL!!

The kid comes back from off season with improved defense, midrange shooting, 3pt shooting. Everybody would be quite happy if that improvement came over the course of 2 years. And you still think he can't improve further, lol.

Nobody is great at 21 years old. So it is an empty assessment. Your assessment was he can't improve because he won't get taller or quicker. He improved a lot over the summer and it wasn't related to getting taller or quicker. And he got taller as well.

Your assessment better be emotional because the other options are way worse.

It’s not true that nobody is great at 21. Luka and lebron were probably top 10-15 players at 20, jokic at 21 was an all nba level guy. To be fair though these are obviously all time guys, so you shouldn’t expect anyone to be at that level this young

Nah AD scored quite a lot on him but he's answering. That 3rd foul on AD was nice though we need him to sit.

Jokic was not an All-NBA at 21, by any means... He was just getting the job ahead of Nurkic that year.
LeBron and Luka were given the keys from Day 1, while we had to endure the stupid "KPJ/green Rockets" for two years, with Sengun being an afterthought...

Look, I get the skepticism, I was not 100% sold, either. The guy just does not look the part of an Elite NBA player. Doen't have length, with heavier base than most NBA players. The push-shot is just ugly as hell... Etc., etc...

However, production just speaks for itself and cannot be ignored. He's making the Leap so far this year, and that is undisputable.

These "franchise player" threads aren't necessary now that the question is settled.

He needs to be the go to guy, I am glad we are leaning into him but he needs help, they are gonna start packing the paint and we need guys that can hit 3s...consistently.

Jalen, Bari - need to pick it up AND FAST - or we need to go another direction.

We can't afford to sit him it's hilarous. I mean wtf do we have to do play him 40 mins every night to win?

We need either Landale to play like last year or upgrade the back up center. Period

So he was actually good last year? I didn’t follow him. Hard to believe — he looks totally useless as a Rocket.

Did not go to into details. The point is, you can't evaluate candidates to be a franchise player by expecting them to match all time greats. Besides hlm would consider jokic and luka at 21 slow, unathletic etc.

Getting a decent back-up center is probably a better option.

Pity that we wasted a great effort by Uncle Jeff.

He’s also not very bright so probably shouldn’t listen to him….
