I love that Dutch is so similar to English and German. I do not have learn in order to understand.

The thing with hlm, he only likes franchise players that have become franchise players. He likes curry, jokic, Giannis but he wouldn’t like them when they are 21, because they have major flows. Lebron is the only franchise player in his mind.
he simply doesn’t have an eye for talent. Now we learned that he thought some scrub would be Jordan because he is doing well in college and he is athletic. But still has the same thinking on Wood, Kpj and the alikes. Since he can’t see the basis for improvement or no improvement , he thinks we are randomly wishing Sengun to be a great player.

Here is a funny post from him about Jokic from 2021...sounds like he preferred Wood over Jokic.

    Also, he posted this:

...Jokic goes on to win the championship a few months later lol.

The thing i hate most about discourse like these is that you always speculate and ppl really think they know it until the day comes and they repent. I think you can never pinpoint a player's ceiling if he's really talented. We can predict where Austin Reeves gonna end up at but some players have x factor which makes it impossible to visualize their final destination in our minds. Jokic was that guy it was too easy to jump into the conclusions he was chubby, slow, wasn't a lob threat, a good defender so nothing else mattered. That's what happens when you miss the x factor. The guy was a genius and high iq works in mysterious ways man it does help you compensate a lot of your shortcoming and most importantly helps you exploit others' weaknesses because you can spot it easily. A simple example. You are a center, not a good defender and other team's center is an athletic freak who will eat you alive in the post and block the **** out of you. A high iq player will try to get him into foul trouble. He becomes gun shy in the post after getting his 3rd foul, kinda ****s up his rhythm. That's what Sengun did to Valenciunas. Jonas was getting the better of him but i think it was the 4th quarter Jonas fouled out and we cooked Pelicans.

So basically i think we fans can never accurately predict where high bbiq will come into play. Like the kid says that he worked on his weird one legged jump shot that doesn't even look like a jump shot tbh. Never seen Valenciunas, Vucevic even try sth like that. They are not terrible shooters Vuc can make 3s but those are the shots being made for years by centers. High iq players are creative and finds solutions to their shortcomings. Kid went from 3/10 to 6/10 on defense i'm not gonna delude myself into believing that he'll average 2 blocks per game but why would i think that he can't become a 7/10 defender next season? He showed us tgat he can take a defensive leap. 1 or 2 more adjustments would make him an even better defender so i'm not closing that door. So basically what i'm trying to say is that when you see the brilliance hold your horses don't make any early judgements. To me that's betting on a wrong horse. It's too easy to say his arms are short so he can't become this and that that doesn't apply to high iq players imo. If he can't become a franchise player he can't but that's not the hill i wanna die on.

He sees himself as the supreme know it all on who is maxed out and who is not.

Players that do not fulfill their potential............tons of it....amongst them players that had more potential than the GOAT.

Prob wise not to use him as the main rim defender until he gets a better rep on defense.

Sengun is getting better at staying away from foul trouble, but I'll bet Silver's unsold second-born that all the "stops" Zubac had on Alpis drives would be called blocking fouls if the players were switched,

Sure, you may rather have Paolo or Chet over Alp, but my original question was if there's any player in the NBA who's 21 or younger and currently plays better than Alperen right now.

Paolo, Chet, Barnes, Wemby, and Sengun will be the best players from their era.

Who knows the rankings 2 years from now but I'd say only Chet and Barnes are playing better today

Scottie is 22. I think you can make a case for Chet although i don't think he's been better than Sengun.

Oh thanks for Clarifying on Scottie

I think Chet, Wemby and Sengun are the league's future.

How I see it today, mainly due to defense. Chet>Sengun>Wemby

How I see things playing out. Wemby>Chet>Sengun

These guys have what Sengun doesn't on defense. But also Sengun is a better passer and low post scorer. Chet will always be the best shooter though

I honestly don't see French Bol Bol ever being better than Chet or Sengun.

What is up with the Paolo hype? The guy has been extremely unimpressive since he came into the league. He's not even in the same league as Sengun...he's still a negative player in my opinion. I can see having Barnes and Chet above Sengun, those are arguable, but Paolo isn't even close.

I just find it out of pocket that folks have chet and wemby over sengun already with such small sample size.

First of all, you're calling me bias when the tweet you posted says Alpi is becomeing a Superstar after he hit a 3pt shot, mind you, the only 3pt shot he made ALL GAME! And Im being bias?? Lol

Go back and look at my post, Ive been wanting Alpi to take the 3pt shot. Ive been saying for the longest that it will only help his game.

I know young players are going to make mistakes....No one is perfect, not even veterans. But I am addressing the question at hand, is Alpi a Franchise player and my answer is No! Is he good and/or can he be a championship piece? Yes

Wemby is not impressive skill-wise. He is rated on potential, which he has shown flashes. He has the raw talent but has a lot of polishing to do.

Chet is legit, better than I expected.

Of course, how much their bodies can sustain the physicality of the NBA game remains to be seen.

It's not even that. I just don't really like knee jerk reactions. Chet looks good sure, but to have him over sengun already in such a short amount of time is astounding

    Yes, yes and yes!

I still think KPJ has talent, he made a mistake and he has to pay the price.

I was wrong about Wood being a starter but he can shoot and rebound. Once he accepts that he is better served as a bench player, he will be better for it.

Kai Jones deserves a look, the kid has unbelievable God given talent and thats something you at least take a look at.

I try not to FOLLOW other people, especially those who don't post anything of substance, so excuse me if I don't know anything about your previous post.
