Jews have been oppressed in Europe for hundreds of years in the most heinous ways which was the reason why the nation Israel was created to start with in the Middle East. So basically jews were offered land in the middle east as a result of the most heinous crimes in modern history. Since the creation of Israel people in the territory in Palestine have been exploited, occupied and abused and that is a fact you can't get away from. Jews have every single right to have a land of their own, especially considering the suffering that they were put through by the christian European power house German. But brutalizing and abusing palestinians and occupying land is not a normal response from the state of Israel. And yes, abuse and misery is often related to extremism and there is plenty of research that backs up that statement. Gaza is in fact an open prison, people can not move freely and they are subjected to a air, water and land blockade by Israel.
