As a Swede I know the political landscape in the US it totally messed up and that american media is pure sensationalism. And to be frank, many posts in this thread really reflects the political landscape Americans are exposed to. Hamas is a cult dedicated to terror, that is a fact. That does not mean that civilians that are palestinians are a part of the terror cult, just as little as israeli civilians are should get the blame for Netanyahu and his apartheid loving politics and terror acts towards palestinian civilians. Hamas and Netanyahu and his puppets deserve each other, meanwhile civilian palestinians and israelis deserve peace and freedom.
How is she any relevant to what is going on in Israel and Palestine? The US and it's constant cancel culture is so toxic and damaging. Sure, the lady is both wrong and a total dumb ass but going for cheap political points based on the acts of a random dumbass is so self-defeating. She has no relevance to the matter what so ever.
That is just dumb. The state of Israel has been the oppressor during long decades and Hamas is a result of poverty, destruction and pure misery. Hamas is disgusting terror cult, yes, but this is what happens when you destabilize and brutalize people for a long period and exploit their weakness in the most heinous ways. There are so much scientific work done on the field regarding what results in extremism and the main points are destablisation, poverty, war fare and exploitation. The Hamas attack was nothing but a savage and disgusting attack but Israel's response is vile and brutal and just so you'll realize how bad the situation is I can give you easy numbers for you to comprehend. More civilian palestinians has died since Oct 7 compared to how many civilians have been killed by Russia since they attacked Ukraine. Answering with brutal destruction is not the right way.
I was referring to the fact that americans are eager to see her canceled. I am well aware of the fact that Alberta is in Canada, I have been in Canada several times. And the question remains, how is she any relevant to what's going on in Palestine at this moment?
This is an american board and some person found it to be relevant to what is going on. My question remains, how is she any relevant to what is going on?
I've been to Stockholm, and walked around the Vasa. doesn't make me an expert on the Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth.
Lovely, Vasa is in Finland though. I consider myself to be educated on the matter considering the fact that I am currently doing a PhD in political science and I have read excessive history regarding the matter. Palestinians have been brutalized for such a long time and extreme enviroments and suffering unfortunately causes small fraction of societities that become extremists. Now I am definitely not looking to compare the horrific holocaust to nothing but just to prove my point, after the holocaust caused by nazi-Germany a paramilitary jewish organisation called Nakam had a plan to poison 6 million germans to avenge the holocaust. Horrible life conditions and abuse can lead humans to very destructive paths but one can't blame or abuse a whole population due to the actions of a few extremists. It's not right.
No one calls it just "Vasa", dummy. If a dummy would just say Vasa in Sweden they'd refer to the city Vasa in Finland. You are not very intelligent and you prove it by this lame tirade instead of sticking to the topic. Poor thing, did you get so hurt by actual facts that you had to take the topic to pure stupidity?
Don't haha me Boggy Cousins. You are parroting the narrative of Western leftists and leftist media. "Hamas is just a reaction to decades of oppression." Nope. The Muslim Arabs attacked Israel immediately after it was founded - because they hate Jews. Muslims attack Jews all over the world - most of them have nothing to do with "Palestine" - it just serves as a pretense for their hate. Hate against Jews is intrinsic in political Islam. Mohammed expelled and murdered Jews.
