How many better players than Sengun can you name that are the same age or younger?

As the topic say, how many players born in 2002 or younger are better than Sengun in the NBA?

The absence of answers speaks for itself.

I am so happy that Sengun is the GOAT in his age group.

This is some #ArbitraryEndpoints stuff, haha.

Yeah, sure, he's probably the best player 21 and under. (Pretty small group of players you got there.) There are a few other players in that conversation though, and it's still early in the season. Sengun needs to keep it up and prove he's for real.

However, if you expand it to 23 and under, I'd argue that Tyrese Haliburton and Anthony Edwards are still clearly better players, Maxey probably is too (still too small of a sample for him), and Zion, well... could be better in theory, if he played up to the potential he's shown and stayed on the court, which he probably won't.

Would not say that age is arbitrary but I get your point.

I sure thing got Haliburton (2 years older), Anthony Edwards (1 year older) and Maxey (2 years older) ranked higher than Sengun.

But yeah, Sengun has a lot to prove but I was kind of amazed when I was thinking about it that he is ahead of everyone in his age group.

Why are y'all making all these threads like people are even out here criticising Sengun? He's literally the most revered member of the roster, y'all need to put the insecurity back in its box.

The cutoff doesn’t matter to me

but he’s better than Sabonis already. That’s important to me

and none of this player only fan garbage

I love the starting lineup, I think it’s perfectly assembled. Sengun and Green leading the way works for me all day

Attempting to answer the thread seriously (why would I bother??)... obviously it is too early to tell.

But the following list of players are in the discussion, simply because they have a higher career ppg than our beloved Alpy:

    Born 2002
    Green
    Banchero
    Mathurin
    Ivey
    Holmgren
    Giddy
    Hawkins
    Miller

    Born 2003
    Smith Jr

    Born 2004
    Wenbanyama

I realise career average ppg isn't the greatest metric, but not many all stars don't score many points. So using that metric, it is interesting that there are only 10 possible guys "better" than Alpy, and 2 of them are on the same team!! Future is bright if we have 3 of the top 11 scoring talents born in 2002 (or younger)
