We played our A$$&$ off against what I think is a bad match up for us and it still took the refs PLUS Jalen showing his weak handle and layup skills plus Alpe playing badly himself at the end!

I'm surprised we were able to keep it that close.
What this team is lacking is someone who can get his own shot at the end like Harden, PG and Kawhi.
I had hoped it would be Jalen but he's added NOTHING to his bag over his 1st two years. (and PLEASE don't say a floater when he tries it maybe once every 4 or 5 games)

He has nothing but a stepback 3 which he can't hit with any consistency whatsoever and can't control his dribble enough to get anything going midrange either.

Ime's got us ballin' but I fear our ceiling is limited unless someone steps up offensively.
I hoped Amen might but that's not gonna happen anytime soon.
Sengun's good but sometimes his athletic limitations come into play like tonight.
I STILL love him 'cause he's all heart though!

    GG rockets!
    GG Alpe until the end!
GG in spurts Jalen but much more BG overall! (someone please buy that man a pair of Ballhog Gloves!)

His three-point shooting is far better than it was this season. Most players are up and down in hot and cold streaks

If this becomes a teachable moment, then at least something can come of it. It’s become quite clear to me that Jalen really doesn’t have a feel for late-game situations yet. He can hit clutch shots, but his clock management and awareness is just not there. This is the second game that he was rushing up unnecessary shots, we got away with it the first time but not today.

I’m as big of a Jalen fan as there is, and even I can see that he has a lot of work to do. Luckily, he has the staff and team around him to help him excel. There’s been a lot of good this season, but we can’t just wave away the bad, either.

Damn its been a few years now since this team was relevant…

Almost forgot how ridiculous this place gets after a loss.

He was a #2 pick but I think you are right. I just don't think he's a starter.

We've just won 6 of our last 7 games. When has all this bed ***** taken place this year?

On the bright side the Clippers needed 4 Hall of Famers, the refs and Jalen Green to beat us.

    Future’s looking bright.

It sucks that jalen green has stupid costly turnovers down the stretch, but ime is gonna teach him the way. Man just came and made green look presentable on defense, im not too worried about it. Im just ticked that we got hosed this hard by the refs while we were on a 6 game win streak.

And we have folks have the nerve to btch about how lucky green was getting to the free throws by the same refs screwing us over.

Jalen and Jabari. Needs a strength and condition program next summer. Hopefully Ime talking to them. It would help them on those drives and in general inthe court. They get pushed around. They need to bulk up

Like I said, 5 against 8. Without those fts, this game is not even close.

I disagree. The refs were definitely ass tonight, but the Rockets were in the driver's seat. If Jalen doesn't go 1 on 2 when the Rockets are up or even lose the ball to Kawhi, then we would probably be celebrating a win.

As fans we need to recognize the short comings as well and hope the players learn from this. Alperen also needs to hit free throws. His one miss killed us, we could of been up 1. Not saying we would of won the game, but Rockets had this game despite the refs BS.

They won't be at their physical peak for another 3-4 years considering they are only 20-21

It was decent and we got to move on to the Fakers, refs are helping the home team which is normal in this league.

    Why did we lose?

    The Biased Refs
    Our turnovers

We can't change the blatantly biased officiating but if we had just reduced our turnovers we could have beat the refs and the Clippers. The biggest bile up the throat taste in my mouth was to see Beard make that final 3pt shot.
