Why did I stay up for this late night BS game?

Not only do I hate being in the Western Conference and watching late night games, I get my hopes crushed in the last seconds. Great defense against the star veterans, but really disappointing offense tonight. If we had played just a little better offensively we would have won easily.

 

Jalen doesn't have basketball IQ.

That was such a horrible play.

Which of course wasn't even his worst possession down the stretch.

Clock management was crucial then after I believe a second straight stop on the Clippers.

An absolutely disastrous play driving into traffic for a contested shot.

In his third year playing on the court against 3 of the best wing defenders over the last decade. Kawhi, PJ, and George having been making big steals like that forever. Learn and move on.

 

We have to beat one of Lakers and GSW can't go 0-2 now.

 

no its not. rocket were the worst team in league 15 minutes ago. Rocket battled the refs and almost won. if they are smarter for 15 seconds they win. I think this was a good learning experience. There was no way refs were going to let the rockets win. they almost took it.

 

Imagine getting hosed this hard by the refs and we still have dumba$$es thinking jalen lucked his way into getting free throws.

Some folks just want to hate on green for fun and take it as an opportunity to troll when we lose a game.

Ok this game was an emotional rollercoaster and we should have won.

Refs were against us and when it's like that there is no room for error.

Those last 2 plays by green were the finishing blows. It's his 3rd year and he is pretty much the same dude that entered the league

 

Yep both Jalen and Sengun showed their warths tonight.

 

The refs were definitely garbage tonight. Very frustrating when the game is one sided. Sengun got hacked several times and refs just letting it go. Brooks should of also gotten two free throws but ref somehow missed him going up for the shot!?

 

It's not really his fault, he should be an energy guy off the bench and he's been put in a role much larger than his talent can justify. You really have to blame coaching for allowing it.

 

JG efficiency is not moving upwards, Im not falling for 2 games in a row of shooting good then the next 6 be like 5-16 and etc

 

Jabari Smith had to defend Kawhi on that last play and did so admirably. But otherwise I just am not seeing him do enough on the court to merit the starting spot. And his utter lack of explosion makes him a bad pairing with Alpi - we need a PF who can dunk on guys when he cuts and receives the pass.

Unfortunately, the alternatives are Tari and his brainfarts or Great Uncle Jeff. I guess we could try Tate but I would prefer our front court not to be the Lollipop Guild of the NBA.

 

Dillon Brooks has come back to earth after his fast start. Three of his past five games have been in single figuered points

If I've learned anything about young players in the NBA is that they suck at recognizing NBA defenses and being a good help defender. I honestly think our previous coaching staff failed to teach these young guys anything of value.
