Some wild rumors out there...I guess time will tell if this is just bs or what

Granted her tweets are from 2021 and I don't know anything about her and the history of these accusations.

This story seems odd, TBH. Those are serious allegations that don't just sit out there for 2 years unaddressed.

What if it was really the AI that fired him?

the AI was giving based responses and it was freaking out the highly regarded hall monitors that make up the corporate board

they want to castrate it into a woke cuck AI

...and you think your ridiculousness (outside of the dumb jargon) is something new?

I have no idea what exactly happened, but their governance is weird. They had someone on the board who is also a regular employee. And the board composition is strange. Seems like a possible vanity/jealousy situation.

OpenAI committed suicide with their coup. The growing theory is that the non-profit organization was having issues running as a for profit. A comparison to Mozilla was made... Microsoft claims they were not made aware of the decision until 1 minute before the announcement. I would expect a lot of Altman's deals to walk away, including Microsoft.

Their corporate governance structure is crazy. Some obscure people on the board who can just totally derail a possibly game-changing company. Will be interesting to see what happens next.

Maybe Satya will buy the whole thing and bring back Sam.

I have no idea what's going on, but my first hunch is for MS to swallow it completely during the power vacuum.

Maybe not officially but def replace whatever backbone it has left with more yes men. Their deal still skewed heavily towards MS.

I watched their Open AI dev conference from a week or so prior, really strange timing. Especially with Satya making an appearance too lol.

Looks a bit messy they should ask their AI for some streamlining suggestions.
