I agree 100% and actually appreciate this sentiment. However doubling down on things like "the case will be dropped immediately" is different territory. That's "he's innocent and I can prove it" territory. If you believe in "innocent until proven guilty" let's wait for the "proven" part to be completed before we keep arguing with morons, or else social media will continue to be exactly what it is. In the end the problem is that anyone thinks what people say on social media should matter. People shouldn't give social media any credence on legal issues. There is no point where a judge asks "but what did idiots say on Twitter?"
It’s what everyone said the moment it happened. There was never a chance he would get in trouble because she would always defend him. That’s just how abuse works. You won’t find out “the truth”, there’s no way to unless there’s video. He had a 0% chance in my mind of being convicted when it happened, and nothing has changed since
A jury also found him guilty of sexual abuse, but lets remember the climate we live in. We cant trust in any of our institutions anymore because they are all broken when they work against the interests of a cult. Only 90 or so more indictments to sift through? LOL
Thankfully I don't live in that climate. I feel for all my relatives out in the US though, from an outsider's perspective it really comes across as mass insanity tbh.
Dude for over a week the White Knights were crying ATTEMPTED MURDER!!! You dont remember these cats saying KPJ hit her so hard that he broke her neck? Truth comes out and it gets ignored. KPJ IS already guilty - even if he's cleared of all charges.
I don't believe for a second that he didn't do anything to her. But if we step into her world for a second, it's kind of messed up that she didn't come out immediately and loudly let it be known that he didn't touch her and this was all a misunderstanding. Instead she went into hiding while KPJ was publicly bashed and lost millions along with potentially his NBA career. Hell, she and her attorneys could have refuted this to the point to where the judge simply dismissed the case. Instead the judge issued a restraining order and set bail. she just sat back and watched his life go down the drain and then broke up with him all because she fell out of the bed.
Weren't KPJ's millions guaranteed for the year? It was whether he earned 3 millions next year or 1 million and he would not have made training camp regardless to earn the extra 2 millions. The Collective Bargaining Agreement demands it ....he basically gets what he would normally get minus the incentives on good behavior.
All these incidents that keep happening around him are just from jealous haters. He's really good guy who is misunderstood! If that Kyrse wasn't so clumsy then this never would have happened to him.
"I told you so" With all due respect - what are you talking about? KPJ abused a women at USC and he abused a woman in NYC this summer. You didn't tell anyone anything on this topic - KPJ has been a bad person for years, and he is still a bad person who happened to hit his girlfriend this summer, but made the mistake of doing it at a hotel. There is no victory lap - my guy - there is no "I told you so" and there is no "it didn't happen". He physically abused a woman - one he supposedly loves. He is a bad guy - and it isn't a coincidence that the Rockets are better now that he is gone. If you REALLY believe that reasonable and rational people believe he didn't hit his girlfriend - then you live in a different reality.
Has anyone considered the possibility that they were just having a pillow fight??? She was standing on the bed because they were playing around. She is so uncoordinated that she swung and missed then she stumbled off the bed and hurt herself. Remember she only shot 28% in the WNBA. She can't be very coordinated. Kevin was just trying to help her up and accidentally grabbed her neck. She was so angry that she lost the pillow fight that she ran out of the room screaming in anger. Also, she says Kevin was drunk but maybe she was the drunk one? That would explain why she stood up and immediately fell on her face. She's a known liar as well. Wouldn't surprise me if she had the drinking problem and it was good guy Kevin who tried to help her. DD
it's weird right. if we were to believe she stood up and fell out her bed; and injured her face. Her knowing it was an accident (of her doing); then why would she frantically run out of the hotel room? If she felt safe with KPJ there; wouldn't one of them just call the front desk or 911 if they wantd medical attention. The story's details are not adding up. It's the same reaction I got when I first heard Jussie (juicy) Smollett's story when he got beat up 3am in the morning in cold Chicago after going to a subway. The difference is she likely really is a victim and is trying to explain it away. p.s. Now that KPJ is gone from the team; I can kind of not care about this story.
