NPR covered this story this morning and they reported while some weapons were recovered there was no convincing evidence that the Hospital was being used for anything other than a Hospital.
Clearly, Hamas are actually the salvation army, according to leftist media. Also, they had plenty of time to cover some of their tracks. Also, if the hospital was used for anything other than a hospital, who was shooting at the IDF from the hospital? The NICU babies?
NPR is absolutely not leftist media. And please tell me you’re in Europe or Asia right now just posting your timeline to the BBS throughout the day instead of staying up all night here in the US.
I guess it depends on where you stand. E.g., for @glynch, any media is hardcore right wing because you couldn't be further left than he is.
Leans left is not leftist. I do not consider CNN to be Leftist either. And conservatives think WSJ news leans left.
From Reuters: https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...main-gaza-hospital-evidence-hamas-2023-11-15/ GAZA/JERUSALEM, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Palestinian medics said on Thursday they are increasingly afraid for the lives of hundreds of patients and medical staff at Gaza's biggest hospital, cut off from all links to the outside world for more than a day after Israeli forces entered. Israel said its commandos were still searching through Al Shifa hospital on Thursday, more than a day after they entered its grounds as part of an offensive to wipe out Hamas militants in the Palestinian enclave. It has so far released pictures of what it says were rifles and flak jackets found on the premises, but no evidence of a vast underground Hamas command headquarters they said was operating in tunnels beneath it.
BBC Reporting: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67436154 Israeli forces are still searching for the tunnels beneath the hospital that they believe Hamas fighters may have withdrawn to, perhaps with some of the hostages. This building has become a central focus of Israel's war, described as a key command centre, even potentially the "beating heart" of Hamas operations. And in the brutal information war that tails this conflict, this is Israel's moment of truth. After almost 24 hours securing and searching the hospital, Israel says it has found weapons and other equipment that could help provide information on both Hamas fighters and the hostages. But it has its hands on neither. We leave the hospital, and rumble down the wide avenue that leads to Gaza's coastal road. Gaza City is now ruled by tanks. The ghostly avenues look in places like an earthquake zone, the destruction is so severe. It is clear what it took for Israel to get control of these streets. Bibi and his government are making a calculated decision to occupy Gaza indefinitely. But the calculus is based on his own continued political survival and not the betterment of the lives of the Israelis (or Palestinians). Bibi needs Hamas as much as Hamas needs Bibi.
