Thanks for posting...not that much about the Rockets really though, more about why foreign players are better nowadays than American players, or whatever. I thought the Legler podcast was a lot better.
Stopped watching when they said Sengun grew 2 inches and Silas didn't have a chance when they brought him in. smh. JK. Doc does talk about all the vets they signed. The vets + Sengun being consistent are the 2 best things about this season (and Ime, too, of course). Love Doc's take about European kids/basketball, AAU, etc. He's spot-on. Video is worth the 10.5 minute watch.
I always like listening to Simmons. He is one of my favorite podcasts. He is entertaining, and yes he often criticized the Rockets (and Harden) but that was not always unjustified. And usually he talks about other teams, so then it is even more fun. I expected to not like Doc on a podcast, but I was really surprised how much I liked him. He actually is a good at this. It has been really fun to have the basketball podcasts that I listen to actually talk about the rockets.
Bill Simmons can eat a can of dicks. There are at least a dozen people on this message board that know more about basketball than Bill Simmons. I can go to any bar in downtown Chicago and strike up a conversation with a drunk guy and he will provide more input on the NBA than Bill Simmons.
Perhaps. However, I listened a bit to Kenny Smith on TNT the other night, and gotta tell you, Bill Simmons is like a Ph.D. in NBA, compared to Kenny. I was shocked, is Kenny getting dementia, I really don't know what's going on? Like, he was claiming that Russell Westbrook doesn't need the ball to be effective????? I mean, Russ is probably the WORST player in history without the ball, he does absolutely zero. Then he asked Chuck what was it like to be in the Big Four with Hakeem, Clyde and Scottie Pippen, which you know, never happened, because Pippen came-in after Clyde retired... High comedy...
For a piece of **** turd bucket with a tiny brain containing fewer folds than a cockroach's, and a way of speaking that makes you want to throw yourself off a bridge, Bill Simmons does okay on podcasts. He's almost worth listening to but like not quite.
I wish I could take stock in what these 2 idiots think, but you could have told them before the season that we'd be a playin candidate and they would have laughed. I wouldn't be surprised if they've watched a total of 1 game between them. Most of what they're saying is because we forced it by winning 6 in a row.
Sherriff Ime's two gun bit was funny and spot on at the same time! You have to let your coach lead AND dictate in order to have any growth and continuity! Especially when you're dealing with a large number of kiddos on your team! Not defending Silas, (Doc was being facetious) he was a horrible coach, but I do think that Stone compounded Silas ineptitude by meddling too much with the team! As a General manager, you have no business showing up at practices and smooching with the players! Give the coach two guns and as much ammo as he needs! Love Ime and what he's done so far with our team!! Having said that, Simmons sucks and the best thing about the video was Sengun on the cover! Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
Man he is so condescenging his voice is so infuriating i mean i honestly want to rip his entire voice box out so he could never speak another word in his life. He just doesn't deserve to be heard. Some people do not. We should not let this man open up his mouth as society. I listened 2 minute of the clip and i can't function now my eyelid is twitching. He gives my psychogenic pruritus messes up with my hormone levels. Who let this devil to have a podcast in the first place? Just imagine having his voice you would ruin at least 20 ppl's day every day. You are commiting a genocide. You don't end someone's life but turn his day into nightmare. You need to be in jail. He needs to be in jail for what he has done.
