Barnes is quietly having a good season again after his 2nd year letdown and his beef with Van Vleet.

9.6 rebounds per game and 1.6 bpg 1.7 steals per game.....nice.

Over 82 games Green was more efficient than Barnes last season on more ppg and universally seen as having the better season. It's 9 games in and Barnes is hottest from the field on a team devoid of scoring talent outside of Siakam.

Has nothing to do with shooting, Barnes`value is that he has to play like a big.....

so his rebounding, block numbers should be more important and his touches in the paint.

Barnes has to play the Dillon-Sengün role for the Raptors minus the playmaking which he is not bad at too.

Barnes is not considered w plus defender.

Raptor fans for the first 9 games are high on him but last season they hitched about his motor and work ethic

Stop!!! Green isn’t close to Barnes at all. He’s scores, rebounds, assist, and defend at a high level. Hindsight 20/20 so i get why we took Jalen, I wanted him too

He doesn't defend at a high level. He's actually a pretty shitty defender. He also doesn't score at a high level.

Green has been more efficient on higher volume for longer.

And he doesn't assist by playmaking. A large brunt of his assists are simple dho type handoffs. Not exactly "playmaking".

At the moment super small sample size this season it's probably

    1. Sengun 2. Barnes 3. Wagner 4. Mobley 5. Green, Cade the rest

Sengun and Barnes are ahead of the rest imo. This draft class has a lot of up and downs, Sengun is probably the first one shown to be the best player on a winning team based on 9 games

Barnes took a massive leap kid became a legit 3pt threat he was shooting worse than sengun last year. I think he's ahead of Sengun too tbh.

    1.Barnes
    2.Wagner
    3.Sengun/Cade
    4.Trey
    5.Mobley

This team is not 6-3 with either of those players on the team over Green. There's an argument to be made that Green is just as important to this offense as Sengun (as is Fred). He's consistently been their leader in +/- even when not shooting well. Yes Green absolutely goes over those guys.

VV did not make him better last year........so I am guessing he makes it up now with Houston.

Y'all crazy picking Barnes and thinking he's ahead of Green.

    1. Sengun
    2. Green
    3. Barnes
    4. Mobley
    5. Wagner
    Everyone else

Barnes is an immature goofball that couldn't get along with FVV. Mobley is playing with 5 Allstars and his team is underachieving.

Those people were always stupid or just hated Green. There are very few cases where someone as raw and Mobley on offense ever develop into a Duncan.

Uh, he's averaging 20.9 ppg, I guess that's not "scoring at a high level" but what does that mean for Jalen Green who averages only 19?

Is recency bias that interesting? the Cavs had an elite defense last year but have been largley hurt and not that good this year so far. Even though Mobley's numbers are almost identical, nobody is talking about him.
